Accidentally left a one star review confusing this place with another place. This bar rocks, I go there all the time.

Sister bar to the corner pub in Montgomery. Great easy going crowd. Weather enclosed outdoor patio and a large uncovered patio in the back. Well worth the stop.

The single greatest place on earth. June 18th was a night for the ages. Thank you to Deer Park Tavern for providing the pinnacle of my life.

Need a mask to be served. I didn't have one on me when I left the house (yes I forgot) but I was provided one. The prices are really good and the atmosphere is nice. What I was surprised about was how clean their restroom was. They also let us have a little fire going outside as it was a cool night. They have a small selection of beer 🍺 and a better selection of liquor. No bitters though, but it is a nice hole in the wall bar. I may come again.

Some of the best bartenders around! If you're looking for people to remember you and your drink, stop in! Cold, cheap beer, pool, darts, beer garden, they have it all! Editing to add: The kitchen is now open!! The chef is very personable and we’ve tried several things on the menu without disappointment! Great for a quick bite or even dinner!! Eat in or get it to go!

I've been going to DPT ever since I moved to Deer Park. It's a pretty chill scene and a nice break from all the bars where you can't even sustain a conversation due to Loud thumping music and obnoxious people. The bar tenders are super nice and learn your name and your drink and will have it ready for you when you walk in if you're a regular. The people there are great, I've met some great friends there and pretty much everyone is up for some great conversation. A lot of old souls there which is perfect for me but if that's not your digs hey go visit one of the previously mentioned bars. Commodities include Touch Tunes juke box system, Pool Table, Darts, Golf arcade game, South Park & Terminator Pinball machines, live music & karaoke some nights, excellent bar food, a side deck and an expansive back yard seating area, and great customer service as well as drinks. See you there.

Unfortunately Herman has passed away a few years ago.... And the main reason I came was because of the google review that said he made the best bloody marys in town. Oops. But still a great fun local bar with great service. Recommended. 👍

I went there in the late 90's and the owner was named Herman, he was a German dude. I asked if he served good "Bloody Marys", he said best in town! That was the most delicious drink I ever had!! I don't know if he still owns it but it was a pleasant experience!
