Habaneros Mexican Grill

This place was a wonderful surprise. We had no clue on what to expect, but everything was so good. The menu does not do it justice in how big of a portion you will receive. When I tell you I was full and had to take a to go box home. Man so did a few other family members as well. In a couple of weeks they will have orange slice soda. What a throwback cannot wait. The service and staff were simply wonderful.

The food here was really good. My wife and I both got burritos and thought they were delicious. The margaritas tasted like straight sour mix though. We couldn't even finish them. I'm still not convinced they even had booze in them. Even though there are a lot of really great Mexican restaurants in the area, all the white people seem to be at this one. I liked the decor and atmosphere. Unfortunately, our waitress was brand new and it really showed. It may not have been her fault but she really needed some more training. Bottom line, we'll give it a second chance because the food was so good, but there are so many great Mexican restaurants nearby that i won't waste my time.

Food was hot and fresh at lunchtime. Service was good and the food arrived in a timely manner. The portions sizes were plenty for lunch. The price for lunch was reasonable. There was a little language barrier. Had to order the sour cream again, but the amount of sour cream was more than expected. I would recommend to friends.

Pretty impressed, my food has not digest yet but I wanted to leave a review while it was fresh on my mind. First off the decor and esthetics are very pleasing. Secondly, the staff was very welcoming and friendly. We purchased a Groupon just in case it was not all we wanted it to be we wouldn't wasted a lot of money. The salsa and chips is good, the food was very tasty and the portions are large. Lastly, the only reason I did not give 5 stars was because my husband had to send his food back because it was not prepared as requested (worthy of a 4.5). Also, he complained because the photo did not look like what he received. In summary we have definitely added this to our list of eateries close to home and shopping. Hopefully they will keep up the great service and food.
