Friendly staff with a great alcohol selection that isn’t over priced! We had the cheese curds and beer cheese with a pretzel, yum! My first time having cheese curds, I’ll probably have some again. Will be back to buy the beer cheese and shrub!

The owners and bartender were extremely nice. The cheeses were delicious and so were the cocktails we had. More of a cocktail hour or after dinner place as menu is limited for the moment. Would definitely go back.

I ordered the Motherboard online (website is super easy to navigate) for my wife and I to share for our anniversary. Pick up was quick, the presentation and quality of the cheese and charcuterie was amazing. I would absolutely recommend for anyone wanting to try Urban Stead. We’ll definitely be back!

This was my 1st time ordering from Urban Stead Cheese. I used their website and I thought it was very user friendly and easy to navigate. I ordered two charcuterie trays for back to back gatherings and they were delicious! They provide the perfect portions and don't skimp on anything. I love that they will bring your order out to the car if you request it. Overall if you're in search for a great charcuterie board for an event at a fair price, this is your place!

Really wonderful neighborhood spot! The owners take special care to curate the perfect cheese selection (that they make in-house) and wines which will all pair perfectly with anything you choose on the menu. The ambiance feel more like a cafeteria than a fancy wine and cheese bar, but I love it. Big tables are great for groups and you can see the cheese room where all the magic happens. Highly recommend!

I really had a good time here. The bar atmosphere was great; there was a good beer selection, and these guys really know cheese - they make lots of it here and it is fantastic. Urban Stead is an easy walk from Madison Road, located on Woodburn (behind Saint Francis DeSales) and there is plenty of safe, free parking behind. Oh ya - the cheese curds are phenomenal.

I had an incredible experience at Urban Stead Cheese tonight. I ordered a cheese & meat board (meant for 2, but i devoured it all) with a couple cocktails. The staff was super friendly & knowledgeable about the variety cheeses. My favorite is still their Award Winning Cheddar. The Gouda & Quark with honey are a close second. What's not to love there? The atmosphere was inviting, quick service, friendly to hosting our group of 20-25 women for an after hours gathering. It's also really cool to see the cheese being produced on-site. I highly recommend them!
