Carrie was the sweetest, after my 5.5 hour drive I stumbled on this gem, and she immediately offered to sample out different options so I could choose my favs! Great service and amazing prices! Drunken chicken and voodoo chicken were next level! 🥰

I've been eating here since 2014 and am still going in November 2023 if that tells you anything. Top notch service and delicious food. My go-to is half Bumble Bee Stew and half etouffe with some of the Voodoo spice added.

Went here not sure what to expect, ordered jambalaya with french bread n a side of red beans. Only way to describe the food is, Freakin fire 🔥 must try!!! Definitely will be back.

When I visited this location, it was my first Cajun experience. Now I can’t live without Cajun food. Every single time I dine here, the experience is as vivid as the first time.
I’m always impressed by how all the employees are knowledgeable of their products and proud of what they serve.
Recently I found out that they can provide cornbread as an alternative to their toast. I’ve never tried it because they told its sweet, and sweet cornbread is not my taste, though I’m sure they make great one. But I wish they would make southern style non-caky cornbread, and that would make their gumbo even more perfect.

This was my 1st time foing to J Gumbo. J Gumbo is a nice spot to go if you're out late and hungry. The bourbon chicken and bumblebee was amazing... I even put a little bit of sour cream in mine. The cashier was nice, let me sample the bumblebee first, and gave good suggestions.
