Lindner Family Restaurant - Cincinnati - Photo album

The Taft gets some great exhibits. The Women’s Sport Clothing Exhibit is here through January 14, 2024. I go to lots of art exhibits and this one is one of my favorites. We did one of their high teas. It was tasty and the harp player greatly added to the ambience. The Taft Mansion makes for a perfe
We went on a Sunday and it's complimentary admissions. You would need to pay on others days. The museum exceeded my expectations. We booked the ticket online and admission was a breeze. Thoroughly enjoyed the time there. There is also free parking at the museum itself.
The building and art were beautiful. Most of the art is the same style so I felt like everything after the first half of the museum was basically a repeat. I was surprised by how little there was to see. Felt like we explored maybe 1/3 of the building. Entry is on the side of the building, not the b
Bought tickets online ($2 cheaper!), and went with two children (both free), and found all staff super friendly and informative, especially the woman at the front desk. Sundays are free, so I assume the museum is much busier that day than when we went. The art collection is compact, but labels are i
Great museum to visit! Somewhat expensive for what they have to offer but still a must see. I thought everything was really really incredible and interesting especially because I am into fashion and costuming. The parking garage was filled when we arrived so we had to find parking so make sure to fa
Had a great experience at the Taft Museum. We went to see the Fashion and Sensibility exhibit, as we are fans of Jane Austen movies! The exhibit was well done and it was worth the trip! The museum also has several nice pieces. It was a great visit! Plan on coming back and seeing more of the grounds.
Very enjoyable to walk through. The exhibit pieces were amazing to see. The only downfall is the lighting, if you want to read the plaque describing the piece, a buzzer goes off or a recording plays.
The museum held the Jane Austen collection and it was really nice, all the pieces look like the same pieces worn in "The Bridgertons". The actual museum had a lot of historic pieces that were owned by the Tafts and Mrs. Taft Dad who initially owned the house. From jewelry boxes,to clothing styles an
To think that this collection belongs to the City and the people of Cincinnati. Only takes a couple hours to see the whole thing. Rembrandt hangs amongst other amazing art. No stanchions between you and masterpieces. Photography allowed just no flashes. Free on site parking. Well worth the pri
Relatively small however there was quality works of art to admire. Two floors they do have an elevator though. There is also a parking garage, small number of spots. We went around 2pm and there was a sign saying the parking was full... there 25% empty spots. The traveling exhibition was of Jane Aus
This is a great museum. My daughter attended a girl scout function here and had a wonderful time. The tour guides are extremely knowledgeable and very engaging. I walked around on my own and had a fascinating time just soaking up all of the artwork. The architecture alone is worth the trip. The fee
This was easy to walk to from Downtown and had some amazing exhibits
This museum straddles the line between historic house and art museum with a sprinkle of art history. The building itself was the home of the Tafts, so much of the museum shows the architecture and styling of each room as it used to be before you enter it. They keep the art interesting by including “
Title: Discover the Timeless Beauty of Art at the Taft Museum of Art Rating: ★★★★☆ Nestled in the heart of downtown Cincinnati, the Taft Museum of Art is a hidden gem that offers a captivating journey through centuries of artistic excellence. As an art enthusiast, I recently had the pleasure of vi
Wonderful exhibit of Women’s sportswear. I appreciated the fabric samples outside of the exhibit. I could touch the fabrics I saw inside the exhibit. We had a tasty lunch in the cafe afterwards.
I went on a free Sunday and thought the museum was a great little place to visit ! They have very unique pieces of art. There isn’t much artwork at the location but there is a lot to offer with the ones they do have ! Finding the place can be a bit inconvenient though, just a fair warning. Also the
This is a delightful museum with an odd mix of 15th - 17th Century European and beautiful Chinese art. The home itself is impressive as well, but not to be confused with the President Taft Home / Historical site.
This place can be a fun daddy/kid date place on Sundays when entrance is free. Ended up taking one of my kids here and although we breezed through the museum, we had a lot of fun. Would be nice to stop back again with a bit more time to enjoy the exhibit. If you are in town and have never been, go f
