A real German restaurant. 💯 With real Germans. And real German food. Don't forget the real German beer. Schnitzel was excellent. The goulash was even better. The old photos and the old features of the dining area just enhanced the entire experience.
Absolutely fantastic! Try the Mecklenburg pie with the Weizendoppelbock...an amazing pairing. Nick was fantastic as our server. We will definitely return.

Cool outdoor patio area. Came in handy on the cool night we were there. I had the BLT wrap with fries and enjoyed it. There was a close soccer match on TV which made for a fun experience.

The biergarten is absolutely beautiful, the food was good, and the beer selection was good and appropriately unique to their German roots. Everyone was friendly and helpful; the entire experience of hanging out and eating there was enjoyable.
Delicious food! The waitress was fantastic! Everyone working there was very nice and attentive. We usually prefer to eat outside, but it had been raining when we arrived and we're seated comfortably at a table indoors. Awesome food, service and historical experience!
I hadn't been to Mecklenburg since my brother's HS graduation in 1981! But it is still a beautiful place and a perfect place to sit outside in their shady beer garden.
