We were looking for a unique place to eat while in Cincinnati and found this place. It has an old world charm, very good service and the food was very good. I didn't give the food a 5 because the food wasn't great but still very good. My husband and I both had the schnitzel($23),we both thought it wa
Saturday Morning Mustard Club, 2nd Saturday every month, has a great German food buffet including goetta sausage which is my favorite. Can't beat the atmosphere too. Beautiful outdoor garden seating area.
Came here for dinner on a Wednesday. It was pretty slow, and got seated straight away. The server was outstanding, being the perfect balance of attentive and unobtrusive. Very nice selection of beers, mostly German, of course. The menu was quite limited, but still sufficient. Got the pretzel fr
I love old traditional restaurants especially Ole school German restaurants and when you can tell and taste the reason why a business last so long its always easy to see. The food, service and ambiance is top notch. The building in fun is a little deceiving but once inside your transformed to the old
Lovely night out with friends from out of town. I didn’t take a a picture of mine but I had Veal Schnitzel which was awesome. A real German restaurant. 💯 With real Germans. And real German food. Don't forget the real German beer. Schnitzel was excellent. The goulash was even better. The old photos and the old features of the dining area just enhanced the entire experience.
Absolutely fantastic! Try the Mecklenburg pie with the Weizendoppelbock...an amazing pairing. Nick was fantastic as our server. We will definitely return.
It was a fantastic German meal, my Schweinshaxe fell off the bone and the Schnitzel was devine. Did I mention there was Stiegl on tap!
Authentic German food on one of the loveliest patios in the city.
The food was amazing! Leslie was an outstanding 5 star server!! Everything was perfect! Top it all off with a delicious peanut butter porter! Yum!
Cool outdoor patio area. Came in handy on the cool night we were there. I had the BLT wrap with fries and enjoyed it. There was a close soccer match on TV which made for a fun experience.
Overall the food and the drinks and the service were good.
Food was delicious with outdoor seating reminiscent of a Bavarian biergarten. Service was amazing with a knowledgeable waitress and the desert... the desert apple strudel was amazing. Appetizers were pretzel with bier cheese and the sausage sampler. My meal was the sauerbraten. One of the best I've
The biergarten is absolutely beautiful, the food was good, and the beer selection was good and appropriately unique to their German roots. Everyone was friendly and helpful; the entire experience of hanging out and eating there was enjoyable.
Delicious food! The waitress was fantastic! Everyone working there was very nice and attentive. We usually prefer to eat outside, but it had been raining when we arrived and we're seated comfortably at a table indoors. Awesome food, service and historical experience!
I hadn't been to Mecklenburg since my brother's HS graduation in 1981! But it is still a beautiful place and a perfect place to sit outside in their shady beer garden. The beer and drink menu is unique and the food was tasty! Great potato pancakes and delicious mock turtle soup! Looking forward to v
