Review Kabuki Japanese Steak House - Christiansburg

Steak was tender. Shrimp appetizer was. It fishy. Rice did. It have a strong flavor, could of used more butter. I go to a lot of these type of restaurants around the us. This place was not bad. For the catch the shrimp in your mouth, they actually used shrimp. I have seen many places start to use egg. The fried rice had 1 egg for every 2 people l, normally I see 1 egg per person. On the bright side those places also charge extra for the fried twice where as this place does not. They had tree sauces. The mustard sauce was very salty for my taste. The soup had no flavor at all, not even salt. All in all it is an ok hibachi steak house. I would return to eat here again

Amazing experience. It was the first time I have been to a Teppanyaki and it qas an amazing experience. Our server was an amazing guy with lots of experience with his knives and food. The live cooking was extremely entertaining and food qas good too. Don't forget to ask for YUM YUM sauce. Sushi was also really good. The place was almost packed because it was a saturday night so the service was slow.

An unforgettable meal for my daughter’s 10th birthday! Chef Michael gave us an amazing show and our server anticipated our every need. We can’t wait to come back!

It has always been a tradition to go on my birthday. I was recently diagnosed with a gluten and soy intolerance. I was sure that I would not longer be able to enjoy my favorite spot. I reached out via email to inquire about my options and got an almost immediate response that they could accommodate both a gluten and soy free meal! The waitress made sure to confirm what I could and could not eat and the chef from the back came out and made sure my meal was ok as well. The food was delicious and I am so thankful and impressed at how everyone went above and beyond to allow me to continue my birthday tradition! Great food, friendly staff, amazing all around as always! : )

Food and Chef were amazing! Large place with many tables and accommodations for large parties. Bar and drink menu were great as well.

Very good food and cheap for what you get. Very big quantities. I love eating here. Service could be a lot better, I never get refills and servers aren’t too nice. But I love the chefs and always tip them!

We went for early dinner (before 5 p.m.) so only two other grills had customers seated. The grill portions were SO small compared to what I've had in the past and the flavor was good but not exceptional. This time I only ordered two sushi rolls but they didn't arrive until the entire table had full plates, the grill chef had cleaned up and left (so I was nibbling from my friend's plate in the meantime)! The sushi rolls were more expensive and smaller than any other I've had anywhere. Very disappointing.
