Great way to see the city. Hop on hop off. Beautifully restored trams such a lovely afternoon out. The staff baz Margery and ciaran were so nice and a great laugh. Ciaran was so informative. There is an added bonus of a discount for drinks in a regent street bar. Would highly reccomend.

Great way to get overview of the city. Jump on & off as you please. I did full circuit first to get my bearings and decide where I wanted to get off and explore further. Never had to wait more than 15mins for next tram. Used them all day and think it is good value for money and relaxed way to travel.

Very informative and a reasonable length (takes about 50’ to do the whole loop). Plus you can always hop off and get back on whenever you want - ticket is valid for the whole day!

The tram is good, the drivers are good and they explain the details. I think the route is too short, you can walk to the most of the stops. I really recommend to go to the gondola, it is amazing view and punting to the avon is pretty nice too. I bought the combo.

The Christchurch Tram is a fabulous service that circuits the city using a wonderful collection of beautiful old trams from many other cities. You can purchase a 'day ticket' that allows you to 'hop on - hop off' at any of 18 stops across the city. The drivers and conductors are wonderful and happy to share their local knowledge, and if you are staying more than one day, maybe consider purchasing the annual pass for a few extra dollars. Great value and a wonderful way to move around the beautiful city of Christchurch ❤️

It is must do in Christchurch if you are new to place. Will give you an idea of the city and its important buildings and its surroundings. The tram drivers and their colleagues are so passionate and knowledgeable about the city. Very helpful of you ask any help to navigate in ci ty.

Hop on hop off tram. There were 3 different trams out on our day, we got to ride 2 of the 3. We missed the blue one. Full ride was about 50 mins. We rode it once then decided where we wanted to hop off. There are 18 stops total. If I remember correctly stop 8 or 9 was closed. Good time, tram attendants give facts as they passed by stops.

Must do if you are in Christchurch. Ticket valid all day. Tram starts 9.50 and goes until 5 pm. 3 trams were operating, and we were able to hop in and off any of them. Commentary from the tram drivers were excellent!

An excellent introduction to the city. We decided to do this for the interest of travelling on lovely vintage trams but what made it really worthwhile was the great commentary from the drivers. There were three different trams running and each driver had different stories to tell about the city, even when travelling along the same sections. This made it worthwhile travelling with them all, as well as getting to see each of the trams as they are all different. Not cheap at $35 for a day but definitely worth it

Took the tram today, first time after earthquakes. Driver/guide provides interesting commentary as you go past the city and staff will also direct you to best stop to take for various attractions in the city. Use it to have a hop-on hop-off experience. A lovely way to take in the city of Christchurch - particularly delightful was the street art and murals.
