Chiriaco Summit Restaurant

Friendly staff greeted us immediately as we entered. We even got a smile from some of the other patrons. There's a country store feel to the place. They have an incredible selection of hot sauces at reasonable prices (for what you're getting). Come for the food, stay for the atmosphere. But she homemade lemon poppyseed bread.

We stop here on our way to AZ almost every time. My husband knows how much I love a good patty melt and they have an excellent patty melt!. Yesterday we had breakfast, my hubs got biscuits and gravy and they were SO good. The service is always friendly and fast. The menu has something for everyone and if you're a patty melt aficionados, you must check theirs out. Also, the place mats tell the history of this interesting stop along the trail and they have a gift shop that has some cool finds like hot sauces to fit any palette. Across the parking lot is a gas station with a large convenience store if you need anything else. A perfect pit stop in a great location for the I-10 traveler.

The staff was great. The food was delicious. Tried Grandma Ruth's Pot Roast it was the special that day. I highly recommend getting this when it's available. Had the Lemon Muffin for dessert. Loved it. They also sell a selection of gifts, snacks, and beverages. There's also a bigger gift shop next door. Hope to come here again and visit that gift shop too.

The best hidden gem in San Bernardino county. Celebrating 90 years this month in business and counting. The food is amazing. I had French toast they were delicious and have reasonable prices. They also have a souvenir store, and nice coffee shop. Great place to stop by with the family for a great breakfast.
