Chilmark Tavern - Chilmark - Photo album

It’s just incredible how in one of the toughest businesses made more difficult by seasonality and staffing challenges that this upscale but casual byob restaurant maintains such high level consistency. A bustling, almost celebratory atmosphere last night set the stage for celebrity sitings and an in
What a way to end the day with love and kindness and great food. Perfect service and a beautiful vibe. BYOB and creative alcohol free cocktails. Chilmark’s best summer hangout. ❤️
The food was good but prices are high. There’s a lot of little extra fees. They charge for bread, there is a $15.50 corkage fee for each bottle of wine, 5% charge for kitchen staff and a 25% automatic gratuity for parties of 6 or more. I think if you treat it as a vacation splurge and don’t expect M
Our family looks forward to returning year after year. Love hearing the Manager’s friendly greeting when I phone. The restaurant menu is farm to table goodness, and a plethora of fresh flavors work well together time and time again. From appetizers to dessert Chef hits home runs. Hopefully this up
Chilmark Tavern is a special spot and ranks as one our favorite dining experiences. Everything is stellar - the vibe, the service and the food. We dined here 3 nights out of 8 nights because it was just that wonderful [reserve ahead]. Jenna is a hands-on owner that orchestrates the room masterfully
A gorgeous restaurant with delicious food. The mussels came in a broth similar to the broth of clam chowder, the best I’ve ever had. Halibut fish and chips was made to perfection. BYOB, but I like that they have three different house wines for anyone who forgets their libations.
Had a great experience here. The atmosphere was really casual, but nice; the service was 5 stars; the menu was really inventive. Four stars overall because, even though the food was very unique, it didn’t deliver as much flavor as I would have liked. The pasta dish pictured here was good, but not gr
Our family had an absolutely amazing experience and a wonderful first meal out on Island last week. We were eager to goto some new restauraunts and we will most definetly be back! They are BYOB and do a fantastic job at it!!! We brought bourbon and wine to drink while dining. We tried the followi
A pleasant surprise! We hadn't dined here before but it came recommended so made the drive from Tisbury. One could tell by the clientele that it was no secret, and the food lived up to the reputation. One downside was that mosquitoes joined in the dining at dusk at our outside table, but that's our
Basil Lime Martini! Summer favorite. This summer.. mussels, so good… Steak is a classic, Halibut a must. These folks go out of their way to make great quality food and atmosphere, when weather allows outside dining is perfect.
Nice restaurant, not too loud. A tad expensive, for the food that was only semi-seasoned. Unfortunately I thought the halibut was a little bland. Overall the experience nice, and the waiter was great.
The entry was pleasant enough and the seating. The food came quickly and at appropriate times. Though our server wasn't curt, he wasn't friendly either. It appeared we were the last reservation of the evening at 8pm, and I recognize the season is almost over but if I'm paying $67 dollars for a steak
Great restaurant with casual dining both indoor and out. Their menu is a bit limited in choices but I'm sure you will find something to pleasure your palate. They have a very energetic bar area and the specialty cocktails are scrumptious
