Boji Stone Cafe

We have always been big fans of Boji Stone, but it seems that here lately the food is getting sloppy. Today we ordered French toast with peanut butter and Bananas on it, with a side of bacon and hashbrowns. We got grease soaked French toast with crumbled bacon and banana slices on it. The French toast was so saturated in bacon grease that it was extremely hard to eat. The side of hashbrown even had a lot of oil in it. I'm extremely confused to why there is so much bacon grease and oil on the food.. I can understand being busy and rushing. But perfecting each order should always be a top priority. I added the photo of the container the French toast arrived in, it's full of bacon grease. 😔

I love this place. I always eat too much. Almost everything I have had here is good, but if you're interested in quiche, I particularly recommend that. No complaints about the coffee, desserts are worthwhile. Staff is high quality. Note that it's also a bookstore with a small and eclectic selection. Not open late.

Enjoyed this downtown cafe. We both had sandwiches and salads. Everything was very fresh and tasty. They also sell various spices, jellies and preserves. We walked out with a coffee cup that celebrated their restaurant and Chillicothe's notoriety as being the home of sliced bread! The decor of the restaurant is eclectic, complete with signed music and art memorabilia. The bathroom even has character! Eat there! -JR
