Stopped in on our way home on a road trip. The fried mushrooms were the best I've ever had. Not the usual deep fried buttons you get everywhere else. So good. We split the sampler plate and there was plenty for the both of us. The BBQ sauce was the BEST! No twang or spicy, it was perfect for us.

This place was yummy. We always stop somewhere in Childress to eat on our way to visit relatives and decided to try this place out. I had the brisket and my hubs had pulled pork. It was excellent and very nice staff. This will be our new stop every time we head to see family in Kansas.

Two meat plate: sausage & brisket. Brisket was tough & stringy, very bland, lacked any barbecue seasoning. Sausage had been heated on a grill, not “smoked” as described in menu. Cole slaw not so great, potato salad was acceptable for a church potluck. Not going back.
