Good food, staff had good performance & personality. While visiting the establishment. The staff allowed some very obese & sweaty guy, behind the counter w/o a mask. The two guys working didn't respond to the issue! Never had problems in previous visits though. Not good business practice under these conditions!

This place was highly recommended by my co-workers. It looked promising, so I tried two sirloin sandwiches, souvlaki and another that is one of their specialties. The souvlaki was bland, and the other specialty sandwich was better. If I go back, I would probably stick to gyros or other Chicago style food. The other issue I had was the language they use in front of customers. Two employees cooking in the back were using foul language in Spanish loud enough so I could clearly hear in the lobby. Maybe they didn't know I speak Spanish, but for that reason I'd be a lot less likely to take my kids there. It didn't stop there though. The employees in the front were using foul language quite frequently right in front of all the waiting customers. I understand that this is the South side of Chicago, but my kids love good Chicago-style food whenever we visit. And talking like that is completely optional. I hope not to have that same experience if I ever come back to try their Chicago-style items.

Just one word...GLORIOUS! The price is more than fair and you definitely get a generous amount for what you order. It took a few phone calls to get through and order and on top of that, I had to wait a minute, but you know what? I called during the lunch rush so they were busy but they had my order fresh ready when I picked it up, a plain gyro with sauce, fried mushrooms and baklava. My only regret was that I didn't take pictures of the meal like I normally do. It all smelled SO good that I went back to the office and started eating. I do plan to come back and try something different next time I am in the area. Oh, and the stuff is friendly!
