The Recipe recently changed (1.21.21) to be the spiciest & best tasting sandwich in town. A lot of restaurants in town claim to have the best hot chicken in chicago. But Budlong on armitage is THE best!

I ordered “original” for spicy level and even that was a bit too spicy for me. Not sure if I can say this is the best chicken sandwich in Chicago, but it’s a damn good option. Food was made really quickly and had lots of flavor. I definitely recommend trying it out!

Budlongs is by far the best Chicken sandwich you'll ever taste. No doubt their food is too of the chart! We drive an hour to two hours for a solid spicy chicken sandwich

Great hot chicken and portions are very generous. Biscuits were good, but a bit too dense.

Really a distinct flavor of chicken, with just enough spice. The chicken was juicy, and it seemed grilled but still had a crispiness to it. The pickles also have a distinct flavor to them, they haven’t tasted anywhere else.

Overall experience was great. Customer service right when you walked in the door. We got the HOT tenders and sandwich XHOT is the way to go for next time. The pickles were awesome (sweet bread pickles). Recommend this place we will be back

Best Nashville hot chicken I’ve ever had. I would 10/10 recommend the Budlong tenders, hot, with ranch sauce. Chefs kiss right there.

We paid $40 for 2 chicken sandwiches and 2 beers. I find it ridiculous that they do not give you free cups of water when they are serving super hot and spicy chicken. This is just poor service in my opinion. Staff was fine. We ate outside. I probably won't be back.
