Sacred Grounds - Chicago - Photo album

The staff are amazing!!! I was running a little short on money and they gave me a free cookie when I asked how much it was and said never mind. When I get a job again I intend to come here regularly!
I came this morning and I wanted a chocolate almond croissant. They didn’t have one in the case so I asked about it. He said, give me just a minute and I’ll make sure you get one. It wasn’t long at all before a warm, delicious (DELICIOUS), Chocolate almond croissant was in front of me with some c
Whenever I’m in water tower, my first stop is at the bakery to grab a few chocolate chip coffee cakes to go. They are to-die-for! I was beyond surprised at how amazing they are! Next time I’m back, I will definitely try their coffee.
Absolutely love this place! I work in the Hancock building and was trying to find a coffee place other than Starbucks or Dunkin donuts. Enter SACRED GROUNDS located in water tower place next to FOODLIFE! WOW!! Large iced latte with half n half, amaretto and espresso. So creamy and YUMMY!! HAPPINESS
The coffee is not great. It was extremely over roasted. The breakfast sandwiches were okay. Overall this place is over priced for what they're offering. Just go to the Starbucks on the upper floor and save money.
The ham sandwich seemed salty but had delicious bread and was filling. The baked goods are the winner here. Towards the end of the day service is slower, but at least the staff seem to enjoy working with each other.
GREAT baked goods, decent coffee and really good paninis. Prices are a little high (I think) but this is the water tower and everything is made fresh there everyday on site.
Best Cupcakes in the city. Been here 40+ years. Amazing baked goods and knowledgeable friendly staff.
