Delicious. I had a 4 hour layover in Chicago at the Amtrak train station. I decided to try this place out as I waited to board my train. It was the absolute best. The prices were reasonable, the food was hot and fresh and served quickly. I will stop again on my way back home.
Every time that I pass through Chicago Union Station, I stop by Robinson’s for the catfish sandwich. The catfish is not doughy or soggy as I have experienced at other places. Instead, the batter is a party of well organized and blended spices that add a little crisp to the catfish. The best part is
bbq, quality stuff. i love it here. nothing but enjoyable experiences here. it has a great feel to it. food is like a place in baltimore i loved.
BBQ and the feeling at this place is excellent. Bring your hunger - portions are generous. Wish it was closer to my house, I would come every week.
The ribs have a good flavor. However MOST of the rib tips were burnt. The ones that are not burnt taste pretty good. The greens have a sweet flavor. Worst service ever, cook and owner rude and the food ain't all that, they act like they doing you a favor by buying that mediocre tasting food.
Fantastic vibes and super affable service. The menu was crisp and enchanting. Will easily recommend this place to others. Reasonable rates and generous portions. Great work.
Great service, fast and friendly and food is quite tasty while traveling.
