Chez Delisay's Cajun Cuisine was a culinary, out of this world eating experience. The gumbo was the best gumbo ever. I went to school in New Orleans for four years and have visited many times and the gumbo here is first rate and in a class by itself. The cajun wings were finger licking phenomenally delicious. The cabbage, red beans and rice and cajun ribs, will send you into orbit. And don't forget to try the garlic mashed potatoes and collared greens. No matter what your tab comes to, it is worth every cent. I wish I lived and worked in Chicago just so I could eat and spend time with the owner. She is the best!

I can't recommend this place enough! The owner is just amazing. She is friendly and welcoming and fun. The food though, it's just out of this world delicious. Our table had the wings, fried chicken, gumbo, mashed potatoes, cornbread, cajun fries, hush puppies, chicken po'boy and bread pudding for dessert. It was all fantastic. Every single bite had you longing for more. I will definitely be back. This is hands down one of the best restaurants in Chicago!
