I Dream Of Falafel - Chicago - Photo album

Incredible falafel, beautiful food and such good pita bread. I love I Dream of Falafel its such a comfort food for me. As soon as I get my beautiful, colorful plate my eyes light up. This is the best middle eastern cuisine you can find in Lakeview!
I do Freaking love Mediterranean food and IDOF makes it fast (or serve it fast) I already had visited a few times the one on Taylor st but this one in Belmont is my new go to because I got my two of my favorite things, Mediterranean food in an All-in plate and for dessert eclairs, or how I know them
I took wrap with chicken kebab, it was great! Kebab was surprisingly juicy and wrap is fulfilling! My girlfriend got the plate with Kefta and it was nice and crunchy on the outside but soft and juicy on the inside! They even make the Kefta to order so it’s always fresh. ✅update: tried their chicken
Only giving them two stars because of the food. Me and my girlfriend went in here to get some grub and we assumed it would be busy because of Pride but it wasn’t too much traffic actually. The staff was VERY slow and they forgot the side dish we ordered(stuffed banana leaves) so my gf had to remind
The dining experience is good. Everything is fresh and prepared as you order. I had the create your own plate with chicken shawarma, rice, red cabbage and spinach. There is a nice selection for you to build your plate.
The falafel gradually continues to get drier and drier.. The F in IDOF stands for falafel, people. Live up to the restaurant name lol… (Keep in mind that contactless payments f.e; Apple Pay, etc) usually do or do not work here. Other then that, the food’s pretty good. Love the Kofte.
Good cream puff! I love it!
The food is always great here. The staff on the other hand is either overworked or need some positive vibes. Clean, quick, delicious and great price.
