This is a good place for a quick bit to eat and classical American foods. I enjoy the gyros and the hot dog special. You get what you pay for. The owners are really cool and remember their customers. I go here for the personalities much more than the food. These are old school Chicagoans and are staple of the neighborhood.

Their hot dog special is one of the best there is, both in terms of price value, as well as taste. I also tried the ribs there, which was pretty good. Service is quick too. Very popular takeout place for a quick bite in the middle of the workday.

Pretty good food and a perfect stop for after Blackhawk’s game. Easy parking too!! We got a beef, 2 hot dogs, and fries with cheese on side. It definitely hit the spot. Bonus that it was very reasonably priced and came out to $18 for all of that plus a drink. Didn’t catch the name of the guy working the counter but he was super nice and conversational. Definitely would return again for something quick to eat

This was our high-school go to place on a budget. I would go back just for the memories, but the food and people are still good. If you want quick can't make up my mind food, this is the place.

The Lulu’s special is definitely a deal you can not miss out on. You get a couple of hot dogs and some fries they are not stingy about. Definitely surpassed my expectations. Best deal in town!

This place? The guys who work here? This IS Chicago. Whenever I'm with family from out of the country I take them to Lulu's. Hearing the staff behind the counter cuss each other out (when kids aren't in the resturant) in that way that only good friends can do is something no one I've ever taken hasn't loved. Food's delicious obviously but cheap and tasty hot dogs are a dime a dozen in this city. The staff here though? They're one of a kind.
