Was whiskey hunting whilst dawg crawling and spotted this little gem from the Red Line train platform. Gotta love an ol'skool joint like this one. The daily specials make for are perfect pit stop!

Anyone that grew up in Chicago has tried at least once a hot dog from Byron’s. They have the best Chicago-style hot dogs, order them with everything including the celery salt! Oh My God my mouth is watering now. The first stand that they open is on Irving Park Ave. I remember when they try to franchise and open several more restaurants. One was on Halsted St. right by the former Cabrini Green buildings and the other I don’t remember exactly where it was. I do remember a big neon star outside the restaurant. With aliens painted inside, it was crazy-looking. Does anyone remember this place and where it was?

Love this iconic Chicago hot dog stand. Have been coming here for years. My pictures don't do it justice. Next time there will do a better job. Easy advice get the hot dog, Chicago style or the full salad on top.

Very impressed with my experience here! Walked away completely happy. The dog was awesome and with all the toppings tasted so fresh! The fries were properly seasoned and hot, although I prefer mine a touch more crispy. The service was unexpectedly nice, welcoming and helpful. I’m just super impressed with this place.

Another Uptown Classic. They have 2 locations in uptown and they are both great to eat at. Been coming here since I was a kid. Your definitely going to leave full from here no matter what you order. I always recommend a cup of cheese for the 🍟. Green River always a must. I mean President Obama had this place catered to the White House if that ain’t impressive idk what is. This is one of my top 10 in the city 🏙

Got the Jumbo hot dog that by the time I remembered to take a pic it was gone. Only thing is that I would have like to get cut tomatoes. They were whole rings and kept sliding out. But over all, delicious.
