Fish Keg - Chicago - Photo album

Great little family owned spot. Food cooked to order and sides made from scratch. Everything was delicious. I tried the Cajun catfish nuggets and a couple chicken wings and everything was tasty and crispy. It’s awesome finding these place still exist. I’ll be back.
So good! Its a classic & they've been around forever. But, man those prices keep going up. Love the fried shrimp and vinegar cole slaw
The Fish chips and the Catfish Nuggets, was very tasty. First time eating there buddy took me an he grew up a few blocks away as a kid. Even had the old Archway cookies various kinds..... hadn't seen these in years thought they stop making them..... got me 2 different kinds for my daughter too try
I have been coming here since 1970. A pound of shrimp was 7 bucks. Tiny shrimp. Now a pound is $21.00 big shrimp. So i got a half pound $12.00 just 11 shrimp that is very sad. I iprobably won't be coming to the fish keg anymore. I feel it's a RIP OFF
Great hidden place. I have been eating there since I was a kid (50 years or so). The shrimp or chicken in a bag are the BOMB! Scallops or clam strips too! You eat in your car or take it home because its takeout only.
Especially during Lent, the Fish Keg is the place to go. They do the fish the way you want it and always prepare it with flair. It's on Howard near Ridge and has a parking lot next door.
I came here to order some fish and chips with some pasta and macaroni and salad and the employee Sean gave me the most greatest service by cooking the most wonderful fried fish I have ever tasted in Chicago!
I love this place. I came here as a child and throughout my young adult life. The family is kind and considerate. Awesome!
