Dinner was fantastic, I love this spot tucked in one of my favorite parts of the city. It’s impossible to go and not get the Kataifi Prawns. The texture of the shredded filo is so pleasing texturally in addition to the fresh prawns. They put me in a seafood mood so paired it with the seafood platter which has a great grilled taste you only get from open flame. The Halloumi is incredibly unique because it is such a salty cheese but between the sesame honey and tomato marmalade it has this delicious, almost French toast taste to it. Thanks and always will make time to swing by when in the neighborhood.

Definitely five stars place! Me and my husband came on Sat night in 30 min before closing and we’ve got a table, incredibly tasty burger, perfect drinks and delicious homemade ice cream 😋. The service was beyond the expectations. Especially thanks to Rene. He told that this place is recommended by Michelin.

I felt right at home in a quiet part of the neighborhood, in a beautiful little Greek restaurant. There were huge windows open to the street, the music was lowered when they were a bit busier (raised when a louder table left), and the music played was a mix of old and new Greek songs! The food... Oh my goodness. I can tell you right now, I will be going back to have the ENTIRE menu. Everything was simple, yet flavorful, oh so filling, and gorgeous! Even the drink I had, which included a tasty tea infused with vodka, it went so perfectly with all of the food! Clearly, I was so impressed that I actually took some pictures this time. I believe my drink was "Teach Me To Dance" and my food was the grilled seafood platter (and yes, there were a lot of leftovers brought home). Trust me. If you love simple, flavorful, and perfectly cooked food... you're going to love Avli!

We really wanted to love this place...wine was great, soup was good, prawn small plate was fantastic, but in the end, our waiter was extremely inattentive, and the main course was a huge flop: the rice and the vegetables were incredibly bland and the "whole fish" ($29) was 2 fillets of an unnamed fish that weren't seasoned at all. We could have cooked that fish in our own kitchen. Overall, inattentive service and bland food.
