They have 1 lb burgers and they are super juicy and very flavorful. Their fries and mozzarella sticks have such a nice golden color and the best Crispy crunch when you bite into them. 10/10 recommend
Just like I remembered, haven't been here in a while and wanted a GREAT burger and of course Illinois Bar and Grill didn't disappoint!!! The onion rings are good too. The liquid in the container with the burger is from the pickles, I'm a pickle bandit ☺️
Damn good place for burgers and beers. The burger is ridiculously large, so bring a friend and split it! Josh is a great bartender, and I’ve heard Olga is too.
This is one of those gem bars on the Southside of Chicago. The atmosphere is awesome - not too loud so you can actually have a conversation. The food is top notch with the burgers being some of the best you'll ever eat. The staff is also very friendly and attentive. Overall, a must visit bar/res
Walked in to grab a quick bite to eat. Their burgers are huge and pretty good. The server was friendly and welcoming. Ordered a Bacon burger, shrimp basket, bun-less chicken breast sandwich, and a HUGE fish sandwich.
A vintage bar atmosphere with the wonderful staff. The food is delicious and made to order. My family enjoys themselves when we eat there. We come all the way from Indiana to eat there.
Really friendly staff and service and nice vibe and atmosphere. The food was good, and the portions were large. I recommend asking them to cut the burger in half and sharing with your friend. The wings were plain and lacked much flavor, but were pretty big and came with fries and sauce on the side.
The burgers are sizable definitely. And inexpensive. Thought it was going to be some small burger but definitely not. The drinks are cheap as well and the staff were friendly. I'll definitely be back.

Small neighborhood place, but the sign outside doesn't lie. It really is some of the best burgers in Illinois. I wish they still had a spot inside of Midway airport. Consistently solid, insanely great prices. And they give you so many fries when you order some.
We eat at ILL Bar & Grill all the time, it's the best place to have a good meal from a great menu selection. Try it you'll like it 😁 👍

Great little neighborhood spot. Our waitress was nice and friendly, even though it there is only one person for the whole bar. The food takes 15-20 minutes because it is cooked to order, but it is worth the wait. The burgers are huge and the fries are for sharing.
The food took a while to get to us but when it arrived it was worth the wait. The young man taking our order was very helpful and nice. Must try for a drink and some filling food
