West Town Bakery & Diner

I’ve always loved me some Westtown Bakery. Between the service, the food and all the baked goods I’ve never been disappointed. This morning, though, they really went above and beyond. Our pickup order was maybe 5–10 min behind, the staff brought out treats for the dog, added donuts and a scone for free and couldn’t have been kinder about it. Will always recommend a spot that takes care of their customers

Update: increased a star because owner responded thoughtfully and kind. Give them a try! I loved their Biscuits and Gravy breakfast plate! Their hash browns are like really thick square patties so just a heads up. We were expecting normal hash browns like the shredded potatoes. For anyone with sensitive teeth, their bacon today was reeeaallyy hard. We also swung by their bakery section to take some cupcakes home. The chocolate cake was dense and almost brownie texture so not a fan. The buttercream was delicious though!

Baked goods are rich and delicious at a good price. We got pointed in this direction by the dispensary next door. It was 25% off there if you bought a baked good. Solid way for businesses to collab and we got to try great new food. The workers were cool and we're going back for breakfast. (Will update after). Update: Breakfast was phenomenal. Lots of options (for vegetarians and vegans too). Large portions so you don't leave hungry. We sat on the patio, nice cool morning, great service. The lattes are wonderful.

It was a good visit - it was a Sunday and it was chill, during the day - visit was lovely - was not very crowded - the food was good, nothing over the moon - the bakery items are great, we took some with us when we left . I just highlight the hash browns are out of this world! Service was good, place as clean - good chill breakfast and brunch place!

Awesome bakery! Such a cool/hip environment! Great baked goods selection. I have not eaten regular food here because it’s usually too busy to get a table, but I can vouch for the bakery! Coffee is just okay- too acidic for me. But the baked goods are a WOW! They have outdoor seating on Chicago Avenue.
