I first tried this place in NYC and absolutely loved it. So, when I arrived in Chicago and realized there was a location nearby I jumped at the chance to eat there again. It was just as awesome in Chicago as it was in New York. Best coffee and breakfast I've ever eaten. I wish there was a location in Kentucky!

This was our second visit here! It’s delicious!!! The avocado toast is outstanding as is the breakfast sandwich.. A perfect breakfast spot! Oh and get a chocolate chip cookie to go... you won’t be disappointed!

Really good avocado with toast! The bread was a little too toasted but nicely prepared. Must try the Belgian Waffle too, lightly sweetened, perfect to savor a sweet tooth.

This delightful spot is a great place to stop in for a coffee, snack or freshly prepared meal.  The avocado toast may very well be the most delectable thing on the menu, closely followed by their smoked salmon salad.  If you've got carb craving all their breads are freshly prepared in house.  Grab a coffee in the AM or a glass of wine after work at this quaint little haven:)

...a European based bakery and cafe founded by baker Chef Alain Coumont with over 200 locations world wide, which are just now testing the waters in Chicago with their newest location in the West Loop.  Le Pain (for short) may be a chain in theory, but their ways of doing things are vastly different tha

Great spot for breakfast on Michigan Avenue. Get ready to experience Exquisite French cuisine at this lovely French cafe on Michigan Avenue. If you are in two plain old waffles and pancakes this is not the place for you. However if you're looking for a wonderful European breakfast experience, walk right in. The staff is friendly and the ambience is very cozy. Will definitely give this a try again when I'm in the area.

It is quite a cozy place with a lot of good food, friendly staff and so on. Especially I like this one: "For every Good Karma salad ordered we will plant a TREE WITH NFF". That's so good for a planet and for people. I like it so much! I appreciate your efforts!

The staff here is so helpful and kind. Stopped in for a quick bite with my coworker (we split the avocado toast and the brownie) and we had a lovely time chatting with our server. Thanks for a nice break from the work day :-)

I really enjoyed the chia seed pudding from here. Not too sweet, with a really pleasant aftertaste. Not a fan of their weird cups for serving coffee though... they don't have handles and look more like soup bowls.

The food was phenomenal! Had a smoked salmon omelette that was superb. The pot of coffee is not a typical American sized pot, which was a bit sad, but the coffee was good.

Le Pain Quotidien is a place I discovered when the French Market was closed. I was not disappointed! The restaurant had great french food, a rustic vibe, very helpful employees, and a nice outdoor seating spot! Definitely will return.

The gluten free bread is so delicious though expensive and the quinoa arugula salad is outstanding with lemon vinagrette. The avocado toast with cumin on toasted gluten free bread is heavenly, but you must order the loaf of bread in advance. They only make so many daily. I miss their former catering mgr Jennifer. Love that young men are given an opportunity to work and learn to bske bread for them while they learn in culinary school.
