My go-to lunch spot! Tuesdays have half priced bottles of wine. My coworker and I have been here three times in two weeks and have loved it every time. The restaurant and bar staff are both fantastic. The ceasar salad is great and today, for the first time, I tried the carbonara flat bread and it was awesome.

Ovie Bar and Grill is a great place to stop in before you catch your Metra train. You can get a drink to go, or sit in the bar and relax. They have happy hour specials which are great. I will often grab a beer or wine and take it for my train ride. There's also a great menu if you want to stay and eat. Pub grub and more. In the summer, you can sit at a table outside and enjoy fresh air. Service is usually fast. If there's a big party going on it might be a bit slow. And when it's time to get your train, you just go right up the stairs to the platform. Overall it's a nice chill place!

This is a great place for happy hour and for private events. I've both attended and hosted private events here, and they are fabulous. You can't beat the location if you need to do a corporate happy hour or dinner here - it's so convenient to hop on the train afterward! They have great happy hour drink specials as well.

Lots of space and prices are much better that expected for being in a transit center. Perfect for meeting after work or a quick beer before your train. Comfortable and stylish with the attitude. Much needed change where normally a beer at other bars in the area charge way too much for a simple drink.

I had the Sorrentina and it was excellent. You can taste the freshness in the quality of the food in every dish. From the appetizer, to the main course following with dessert every dish was tasteful. The waiter and David, the owner, were very inviting and insightful. Best customer service I have ever experienced. I highly recommend this restaurant! Thank you again for the warm welcome to San Francisco!!

Great place to stop by before having to take the train. Good food, decent selection of beers, and reasonable prices for Chicago. Plus you can get from being seated at the bar to being seated on the train in 3 minutes flat.

Good selection of beer, great bar staff and very good prices. If you are taking a train out of ogilvie, stop and grab a beer from the Ovie grab and go. Amazing selection that changes often. Can't say much for the food because we have only had some apps to munch on while drinking but they were good.

Had a group of 20 in for Happy hour and we had an amazing time. The server (Xavier) made us feel like we were the only table in the place and they were packed. Loved the Zombie Dust on draft! Happy hour specials are awesome.

I had lunch here today with my amazing co-workers & it was amazing! For appetizers we had crispy duck spring rolls with a sweet & sour mango chutney sauce and a squash and zucchini carpaccio drizzled with truffle oil, Italian seasoning and shaved parmesan (it's going to be a new item on their upcoming summer menu, it'll have the option of choosing between adding shrimp or salmon!). Both were so delicious! For my entree I had the steak sandwich with hand cut, perfectly seasoned fries that were sprinkled with parsley. The sandwich was so good: the bread was nice & soft, steak was tender & flavorful - I was pleased eating it! My co-worker spoke highly about this place & I can see why for I was very impressed. I'll totally return, especially for their cool happy hour - I heard good things about it & can't wait to check it out!

Great Munchies! Perfect location to have a after work happy hour and then walk up some stairs to your train (if your training it out of Oglivie). Decent prices on drinks for the city.

Great micro brews and very attentive service. An undiscovered gem below the Ogilvie train station! The food is unique & delicious. It was easy to get in on a Saturday night-not many people seem to know about it...yet!

I love this place! Every business lunch I have I ask my guest to meet me here. Their food (especially the Veggie Burger) is so good and their prices are extremely reasonable. The service is superb every time I visit. Highly recommended.

There aren't many casual bar and grilles in the culinary Mecca of the West loop. I was dying for a low key sandwich and beer and got just that at ovie. I sat at the bar which was pretty empty but it looked like tables might fill up. Chicken bacon sandwich was good and lady working the bar was appropriately attentive. I'll likely be back

Much better place to grab a beer waiting for a train than that cash only place in the front of OTC. Lots of people don't know that you can go down from the middle of the tracks and there is a row of stores. I really enjoyed the food and the beer menu was good too

Stopped into Ovie by accident waiting for my train, the staff there was super friendly.. especially the bartender, Lauren, she pours a mean glass of red! Food is awesome, loved the anti pasto.. I will definitely be returning to see Lauren, she is the gem of Ovie!
