I was in the city to see a musical downtown and we made it a point to stop in for dinner. This restaurant does not disappoint. Traditional Puerto Rican food cooked just like Mom would, with love. Very, very tasty indeed. The mofongo with fried pork is my favorite. I’ll be back!

It was awesome!! One of the best Chuleta Can Can's I've ever had...The cocktail alcapurrias were great (I'm very picky about my favorite food)...Andres was funny, courteous and made our experience the absolute BEST!! We are from NJ/PA and would DEFINITELY recommend it and we hope to go back to this piece of heaven again. Se botaron!!

Went there with my husband and granddaughter after a school activity yesterday. And we happen to bump into friends that were there already, we had a blast. The staff treat everyone like family and the food is excellent, really good, finger licking good. The mofongo and morcillas are my guilty pleasure. Great ambience very relaxing. And btw they keep the bathroom clean, which is another plus.

Absolutely delicious and authentic Puertorrican food. Everybody was very welcoming from the staff to the other costumers. The PR sampler was incredible. I haven't had morcilla in years flavor was great just like I remember from growing up in Puerto Rico.

Authentic! I ate all of my food which is rare for me. I'm Mexican and it's only my third time getting Puerto Rican Food, I would eat here again.

This year's visit to the annual Puerto Rican People's Festival was hampered by the rain here and there. Either way, this establishment turned out to be one of the best places to enjoy the parade. It had cheap prices and good service. In addition they had music with live instruments later on in the night. All-in-all this is a great place to have some food and have a cold one.

First time visitors in from Maryland. In Maryland we can’t get quality comida criolla often. We highly recommend this food for anyone looking for quality authentic Puerto Rican food, stop looking! La Bruquena checks every box. Direct quotes from my two kids: 8 year old son: “I’m in heaven” 12 year old daughter: “this is soul food” For those with kids, you know how hard it is to find food that they like. The staff and owner are a pleasure. We had great conversations. Highly recommend.
