This was a good Chinese restaurant, kind of small inside but there is seating. Service was typically meh but the food was great. We were a group of 4 so we tried a lot of items. We ordered sliced marinated beef, lamb soup, biang biang noodles, cumin lamb flatbread, cumin beef flatbread, lamb skewer,
I got chicken skewers and a cumin lamb Flatbread and a milk taro drink food was good the chicken skewers are DELICIOUS and the Flatbread is big for the price. Staff are not native English speakers so have patience with them they are very sweet
The atmosphere was like you walk into Chinese culture! Staff greeting me as u walked in. And I was offered ice water or hot tea. I choose hot tea; I received the most robust, delightful, fragrant Jasmine tea. I knew it was Jasmine because I have the Jasmine Young living essential oil at home.

Really good taste!!! No public restrooms, I ordered the pork potstickers, there is fresh spices inside, very good. Ordered #91 stir fried cold noodle with the beef. The beef is close to a roast beef texture sliced thinly. The noodles were a bit too floppy for my liking but honestly the flavor is the
Came here 3 times in a week during travel. Very small restaurant and can get super busy. But the food is authentic, their noodles are really good. Most dishes has strong flavors, like the BianBian noodle and their braised lamb chop. But other noodles are actually not so heavy on sauce, instead you c
I ordered biang biang noodles with wide hand pulled noodles. The noodles are soft and good but the soup lack beefy and spicy flavor. I wish they have soy sauce on the table but they don’t. Not thirsty after eating so that’s a good sign.
If you're looking for a heart warming noodle meal, look no further. Xian Cuisine is a great restaurant spot in the heart of Chicago Chinatown and definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend the biang biang noodles!
We ate at the restaurant on a Thursday evening. Only one other party was there but should have been packed. The menu was amazing with items not usually seen. Prices were more than fair and every thing we ordered was perfect. Don't miss the egg drop soup!!
We come to China Town once in a while for a certain cravings, but our first experience with this place is actually with its location at Naperville. Comparatively speaking the China Town location is much smaller in size and menu offerings. But the food quality is about the same.
I am not sure what
This place needs more attention. Their flat bread sandwiches (rou jia mo) is delicious. Bread is perfect. If you’re familiar with mainland Chinese food you’ll find these items on the streets of Beijing in the morning rush as people are off to work. Taste just like I remembered 10 years ago. The hand
It may look like a humble, hole-in-the-wall spot on the outside, but the food is absolutely incredible. I haven't had the chance to enjoy the wonders of traditional Xi'an cuisine in such a long time, but Xi'an Cuisine really brought back so many childhood memories. I tried their vegetable and refres
It’s one of my favorite places in Chinatown. Love the vege flat bread, loads of veges! So filling! The pork bone soup is hearty. It comes with clear glass noodles and so vegetables. They always serve it super hot, very satisfying though. My friends love their lamb dishes. Their price is awesome! I p
Yummy! There are certain dishes that this restaurant does very well, and I suggest you stick with ordering those.
1. Cumin lamb flatbread (ask for added cilantro +/- jalapeños)
2. #53 on the menu, the hand pulled noodle dish, + add lamb for a small extra cost.
The value is very good! We ordered 4
The noodles dishes here are great. They have really good chili oil to go alongside them as well. I've tried the Biang Biang noodles and Dan Dan Noodles, and they were both amazing. The flatbreads are about 3.5/5. The meat is flavorful and well seasoned, but the dish can be quite dry.
Good Chinese food, there are so many options in cuisine like schezuan.
I gave 5 stars but obviously I can only speak to what I had and the person I was with got the same thing as me. We got the (Dan Dan?) flat noodles with lamb. Hand pulled noodles right before you get served. Simply amazing. We also got the hambao (flat bread bun with ground lamb). Both were soooo goo
Cold noodle is tender but the sauce is on the light side. Not much flavor.
Lamb roujiamo is so good. Especially the bun.
Overall not very authentic but tasted good.
Some of the best food I’ve had first time around. Second time disappointed
