Great place to take your family, meet old friends, eat great food and have a wonderful experience. I have eaten hundreds of meals here and the brunch on Sunday it is always fantastic. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is my second time here and both experiences have been lovely. Good food, friendly staff, clean environment and a nice extensive draft menu. The new Sunday brunch menu is great!!
One year after my first post, I still highly recommend this gem of the Norwood Park neighborhood. The Iron Horse Ale House has an amazing selection of locally made and nationally made microbrews, as well as nationally recognizable beers and spirits. On past visits we ordered the margarita pizza with prosciutto, their soup of the day, and a side salad. The pizza from the Wood-Fired oven was fantastic, crispy and light. For this visit we ordered their chicken wings as well as crab cakes, and a bottle of wine. The chicken wings were excellent and the crab cakes were flavorful and perfectly prepared. I absolutely give 5 stars to the Iron Horse Ale House!
This is my gf and mine second time coming here. Have been happy with the service and drinks. Great beer list three floyds, Surly and Allagash have been on tap the last time too. The pizza and wings are great too. Cody has been are bartender both times and has been awesome with her service also makes great drinks 👍

Came here for the first time on a Thursday evening since we happened to be in the neighborhood. The atmosphere was lively and there was a good amount of patrons having a nice time. Beer selection was decent but could've been more extensive for an "ale house" (which is why I deducted a star). Our waitress was pleasant and polite. This place is known for their pizzas but will opted to have a buffalo wrap and a burger. Food was excellent, definitely the highlight of the evening. My burger was huge but it was so good that I finished it. My wife finished her entire wrap too. Also, prices were very reasonable! Will definitely return next time we're in the area.
This restaurant is our go to place for very good food, excellent service and positive vibe. It is very family friendly. Even my finicky 4 year old likes the kids menu items. They have a great selection of adult beverages too! She loves to sit at the counter near the open pizza oven to play with real pizza dough while watching our pizza being made and baked. If you haven't checked this place out on the far northwest side of Chicago it's a must!
Food is always good, and waitstaff is always very attentive. Great place for families! They have a seating space for kiddos to play with dough, to be fired, and then eaten. My daughter loves it. There's an outdoor eating area also.
Pleasantly surprised. I'm new to the neighborhood, typically prefer hipster bars and dives. Nice big space, food was really great. I tried to be a snob about the food, but couldn't find anything to nit pick about. Kid friendly too. My 3 yo daughter asked for a bunch of random stuff like chicken fingers, orange soda, crayons and ice cream, the waitress didn't even think twice and made it all happen.
Great neighborhood restaurant. Staff is always attentive and courteous. Have eaten there numerous times and have never been disappointed. Extensive liquor selection to choose from. The pizza is outstanding. Great select of comfort food. They also have a patio area seating during the summer. They tic all the boxes!!

Cool settings inside. Pretty big place with outside seating. My second experience here. Food was good. We got a French dip and a Mac N cheese Burger. Good portion sizes Last time we ordered goat cheese appetizer. It was a little misleading. We received a small dollop of goat cheese swimming around in Marinara when we expected a more substantial amount of goat cheese. Other than that... solid joint
