This place was great! I'm a huge fan of hole in the wall restaurants/Mom and Pop shops that are simple and delicious. This is definitely one of those places. The owner is super sweet and has quite the personality. I've been trying to find a solid authentic Mexican restaurant for ages. I feel like a lot of them are catered to American tastes or the vegetarian food isn't that good. But this one was great! The Mexican coffee was to die for and I despise coffee. The owner asked us to try it and boy was I glad I did. At least now I know I can get a real caffeine kick somewhere, finally! They are still trying to get more people in post COVID. Please go and support their small business! The food is fantastic! Their homemade green hot sauce was amazing too!

Awesome Mexican restaurant that has all the classics done very well. And while the food is great, it's the staff that makes this place. Every time I visit I'm asked about my day. They ask how my family is doing. And when dining in they ask about the meal.

Are you kidding me!? One of the best pastor burritos in Chicago. We were immediately greeted when we walked in by the kind staff. Quick service and DELICIOUS food. Pound for pound one of the best food decisions you could make. I’ll be back next Saturday!

First time here so went with a simple dish enchiladas verdes de pollo. Green sauce they used for the dish was a bit spicy but super good better then the table green sauce. Steak taco was tender and juicy. Aqua de horchata was a bit bland and flavorless. Overall good experience from a family run restaurant will be coming back to try different options.

Excellent and authentic Mexican food here. Ordered the lengua gordita and a chicken burrito. The tortillas were made in house and were delicious. The lengua was cooked properly and tasted delicious and fresh. The traditional and verde salsa that came with the complementary chips were decent but not spicy. That's okay though, upon request they provided their "inferno" sauce which was very spicy. The Mexican coffee with brown sugar was tasty and the flan was amazing. Our server was delightful, prompt, and funny, but I didn't catch her name. This restaurant is the highest rated on Google in this area for a reason!

Very Very good tacos here. CHORIZO, AL PASTOR, LENGUA all tender and flavorful no greasy no over seasoning. Spicy green sauce was incredible. It's pack all the fresh flavors and nice spices. Excellent horchata as well. This is one of the best cheap eat and satisfied.
