Without a doubt hands down no more argument needed the best pizza within not only Chicago but the surrounding 49 states! It's that good. I grew up on it I Rave about it to my friends and family when they go through Chicago to make a point to stop at Phil's and reward your taste buds and your belly. But I have one request...please bring back green olive!
By far my favorite pizza place...period!! And nothing to do with us sharing the same name...lol...it has to do with the homemade sausage, deliciously seasoned sauce, excellent cheese, and an amazing flavorful crust!! I give Phil's Pizza my absolute highest 5-star, ya-gotta-have-it, recommendation!!!
Very excited to have discovered this place!!! Their pizza is delicious and I'm looking forward to trying more from their menu. Authentic Italian atmosphere and everyone who works there is super friendly. Love! (Plus I've never seen my 8 yr old daughter eat so much pizza in one sitting before.)
I luv Phil's, I'm there every other Friday. Their pizza is cheesy n the Italian sausage is seasoned really good. Best pizza n Chicago (my opinion)
Grew up eating Phil's. I get the Phil's Special and let me tell you the sauce is delicious, the sausage tastes great, and the veggies are cooked to perfection. I usually ask for "easy sausage" because sometimes they are a little too generous with it.
Now that I have moved across town, I still manage to get my fix at least once a month. Please don't change!
Just picked up my medium cheese sausage pizza now driving all the way back to Michigan.. Lol.. ate half of it already on the road
The Best Pizza in Chicago. They definitely do not skimp on ingredients. I have driven 25 miles to enjoy the fabulous flavor and they are reasonable.
Amazing pizza worth the wait!!! Would order again!
How can I get a pizza I no longer live close to the shop. Do you ship?

Best thin crust pizza in all of Chicago. Absolutely love it
Greasy, salty and tasty. Big sausage.
Medium pizza is a bit too much for two people, but you can finish it.
Tax is included in price. Great price. No tipping, no waitress, just pick it up at counter ;)
Attitude of lady taking order could be friendlier.
Bathroom is ok.
Their pizza is really good and the restaurant has an old school pizzeria feel. They have 12 (4) Tops so it’s quite large for a pizza joint. The only negative is I always feel super rushed on the phone.
This is one of the best pizza places in Chicago by far used to get their pizza once a week as a kid in the 80s and they are still awesome to this day.
First time eating at Phil's. I was not disappointed. We ordered the jumbo pepperoni and sausage pizza. It was delicious! My wife tried the beef sandwich. She loved it.
Some of the best Chicago neighborhood/tavern pizza you'll ever have! Don't expect them to always pick up the phone, or be nice to you at the counter, but OMGOSH the pizza is amazing and they're nice as their pies, if you look deep enough! :)
First time having this pizza. When placing the order. The young lady explained the mix up google has made. She sent me a menu along with my order. It was delivered the driver contacted seconds before arriving. Awesome delivery drop and go. The pizza was delicious up to the last bite. Good food and will be ordering again.
Amazing pizza! Only complaint is place is freezing seems like they got no heat in dining room. Sometimes you can call before they open and get a pizza made ready in time when they officially open
Honestly the best pizza I have ever had. The only thing I have to say is, they really need to invest in some DINE-IN service and offer pizza by the slice. That would get so much more traffic in the door and bring in younger customers to hangout and enjoy a slice of the best pizza Bridgeport has to offer 😋
1st time going there pizza was great My brother took me And A buddyThe place is kind of small but the food is greatOrder ahead and the pizza was ready when we got there
A true Chicago tradition. If you're looking for the best pizza in Chicago, look no further. Generous toppings and a crispy crust made this the perfect meal. The dining room is small and outdated. But I wasn't going there for atmosphere. I was going for the best thin crust in the city and they didn't dissappoint.
Best pizza on the south side! Don’t expect a warm southern greeting when you walk in; this place comes with an extra slice of Chicago “no none sense” attitude but you will leave with a mouth watering pie.
P.S. Do Not get the Italian beef. It is dry, flavorless, and not even on the right kind of bread. They should remove it from the menu.
Local favorite pizza place. Pizza's are tavern style, cut in squares and served on a cardboard circle in a bag. No frills in the place or in their service which feels very old school Chicago. Pizza is delicious, high quality ingredients and always cooked to perfection. Used to be cash only, started taking credit card during the pandemic, not sure if they still accept card.
