We were visiting from Atlanta for the Braves game & found ourselves here after dinner. This is a treasure! We were helped by the sweetest staff. They made us feel like just part of the neighborhood. They answered our questions, they spent extra time & attention to ensure my ice cream order was nut free (severe allergies), and their hospitality was simply wonderful. Doesn’t hurt that the treats are outstanding! Ice cream 10/10!! My husband snagged some of his favorite flavored fudge & we found other treats along the way. Thank you so much! Amazing customer service!!! I wanted to eat the whole store!! We bought chocolate covered Pretzels that were dipped in M&M's, & dipped in Reese pieces, & a chocolate carmel sea salt one! Oh my goodness they were delicious!! Like out of this world delicious!! I need more!! We picked a Chocolate & Carmel cashew candy! That was fantastic as well!!An oreo chocolate ball!! Something different, & it was unbelievably awesome!! I spent too much money on chocolate & I'm not mad about it!! Go try it out, you will love it!!
This place is amazing. So many options for your sweet tooth. They are always very friendly and accommodating to my needs. I was able to get a bunch of candy for Xmas for my friends. They had everything that everyone liked so I only had to make one stop. Would highly recommend in the summer for their ice cream and shakes as well. Definitely check them out if you have a craving for something sweet.
windy city sweets is my preferred destination for ice cream!! they have a great selection of candies and chocolates! what blew me away today was the kindness that was demonstrated when i brought my little cousin in. he asked so many questions and tried to buy the whole store, but the staff here rocked the whole time we were in there!!! so grateful

Holy moly this place is great! The staff is friendly, there’s amazing variety in sweets they offer (even a section for sugar-free folks), and the gift packaging is superb. The staff is quick to provide you with help and recommendations— definitely a local place to support.
I was visiting Chicago a little over a week ago, and stopped by Windy City Sweets to check it out. I'm so glad I did! The gentleman behind the counter was very kind, and was highly knowledgeable about their huge selection of delicious treats! I brought home a selection of sweets to share with my husband and son, and it was all delicious! Chocolate covered gummy bears, homemade fudge, chocolate covered pretzels, and our favorite, the most amazing s'mores you can imagine. Decadent and delicious! It was all SO good, and I will definitely be back in a few months when I visit Chicago again.
Such an incredible atore. The man working was super friendly and helpful. Havent seen a selection this fantastic in a while. The Jalapeno chocolate crunch cup exceeded all my expectations
