Best gyros platter I've had in years. The meat was lean and spiced just right. The onions and tomatoes were fresh and the tzaziki was good. The pita was soft and warm, and even the onion rings were cooked just right.
I'm always skeptical about eating at a place that serves Chicago "street food." It's always the same taste and a lot of grease. Not at Hubs tho. They were different and REALLY TASTY. Food was really hot, fresh, and made to order. The wait was short and overall I am really impressed with this eatery and recommend it.
First time trying this place via Grubhub, and all I can say is get the whole greek chicken and potatoes! It was amazing and I was impressed by how good it was even after sitting in a car for a little while.
I've been here numerous times and I always get friendly fast fresh service and food that tastes good. It ain't fancy It ain't bad but it's good. Thanks for the service throughout the years.
Update of my original post. The last 3 times I've ordered online my order was wrong. Missing cheese. Pickles on a patty melt? Everything on hot dogs ordered plain? I'm growing weary of this now. May need to go to Wolfy's where they've never gotten my order wrong.

My Son is a long time fan
We had the cream of chicken soup to start,
It was good and thick, it came not as hot as I would prefer and was a bit bland (I added pepper)
I enjoyed the chicken kabob sandwich
The chicken was fresh grilled and tasty, the pita was perfectly warm and slightly toasty, the veggies were fresh and tasty if the tomatoes were a bit thickly cut and awkward fit in the pita
The gyros sandwich was pretty tasty too
Bathroom is not accessible. Double foyer doors are problematic without help if you have a wheelchair. All that said food was excellent prepared properly and served hot. Friendly staff. Currently free refills on soft drinks.
I love eating here. Good food, great prices. The best Greek food for the price and it's a piece of SNL history....you'll like-a the sauce.

When my daughter was little, we lived in the neighborhood and enjoyed Hub’s often. We recently returned with her younger brother, and the food was as outstanding as we remembered it to be! We especially enjoyed the Chicago style hot dog, the Greek salad, and the Greek fries.
The service was also great - friendly, unhurried but prompt, and patient with the kiddos. We no longer live in Chicago, but will return every chance we get.
