Mysore Woodlands - Chicago - Photo album

An Indian friend brought us there. The Vada (donuts like thing) is so so. The Dosai is great, it’s crispy. Both the Vada and the Dosai are served with same source, a coconut favor one and a curry favor one. The last dish is pretty good( the one with cabbage and green pepper)! The restaurant is vege
Excellent food options for vegetarian food lovers. We had the spring dosai, a dosa that has cabbage and carrots in it instead of potatoes. The appetizer platter was great. It had samosa, pakoda, cutlet and five different chutneys. Clean place
Had the woodlands special. Rasam was really good, as were the idlis and vadas. Dosa was ok but have had better. The chutney is not the greatest. Was disappointed with the bisibele bath. The coffee was not the South Indian coffee you'd expect. But overall a good place with good South Indian food for
Delicious food and friendly people. We had a nice time. Apparently we were supposed to have the dasai...what they're known for...but i had no clue. Next time!
Good place for Indian breakfast or dinner. Lots of varieties and good service. Dine in area is good. Parking can be tough due to Devon streets.
I love the lunch special!! The service is kind of random so you have to flag any server you see down to order. That’s okay though as it wasn’t very busy.
Good place to eat if you want to try something different. They good variety in the menu.
South Indian eatery. The taste is good, a little less spicy for Indian food. But lot of options, similar to what you find in southern India. Sambhar could taste better.
Food was good but service was very slow and awefull ...waiters do not understand and orders and that’s why service gets delayed
Great food! This restaurant is completely vegetarian and the food is delicious. The curries are rich and flavorful and the dosa is humongous and delicious. My only issue was the service was a little slow and didn't give us enough water, but the food more than makes up for it. Definitely one of the b
Indian🇮🇳food is really good! The spice complexity is beyond words. No mystery meats so I'm able and willing to try it all. Granted I did feel out of my element and didn't recognize virtually anything on the menu well except for the samosa but as long as it's not some pig intestines or something alon
This place is so good. Granted, I'm a white midwesterner, so I don't know authentic Indian food that well, but this place is really solid, from food to service. I see a few other reviews stating their service was poor or slow, but I've only ever had extremely excellent service here. I'm also always
I love South Indian food and being a vegetarian am more comfortable in an all veggie place knowing the prep is happening in a reliable manner. Dosas are good. I was there for a very early lunch so it wasn't crowded at all. Service was quite good. Prices are reasonable.
We got the large sampler plate, coffee and a milkshake. The food was tasty, the service okay but not very attentive. The atmosphere on a Sunday afternoon was quiet with just a few other tables sat.
