Everybody's Coffee

Not usually noted by reviewers, but, the bathrooms are new and SO clean! We were Very Impressed and we'll go back! Nice work to those who work there! Thank-You!! Delightful neighborhood hub with local art and performance space. They source coffee from small business owners and have excellent pastries and a range of coffee and tea. They have friendly and welcoming staff who are colorful and engaging and enjoy participating in a lot of local events such as Taste of Uptown and Winter Walk on Wilson.

I stop in whenever I have a meeting in the neighborhood. The coffee and the service are very good. The tipping is a little awkward as others have mentioned, but I don’t think it’s a bad thing to add an extra dollar to your coffee order (especially when it is already much cheaper than starbucks or dunkin). The interior is wide open, so it’s a great place to settle in and get some work done. The atmosphere is generally quiet and it’s fun to see a diverse range of people stop in to get coffee. My only real complaints are that the bathroom stalls in the men’s room do not latch shut all the way, and the food is not very good. I’ve ordered breakfast sandwiches a few times, but they were way too greasy for me. The bagel is your best bet, but it’s nothing special and feels a little pricey. Overall, I think this is a great place for coffee if you find yourself in Uptown — but there are better places for breakfast food.

Cute local coffee shop with a variety of drinks, food, and seasonal specials. I tried the pumpkin spice latte because it's that time of year and it didn't disappoint. Sometimes pumpkin spice flavored things can be rather bitter but their latte was well balanced - not too sweet and still letting the coffee be the star.
