Jimmy's Pizza Cafe - Chicago - Photo album

Stopped by Jimmy's Pizza Cafe after hearing quite a few good things about their pizza. I tried a slice of the Meat Lover's (pictured), a slice of the Quattro Funghi Truffle (pictured), and Jimmy's Garlic Knots (pictured.). First, the Meat Lover's was very good! A nice, thick slice with a nice samp
Great thin crust NY style pizza. I can’t rate this place high enough! We’ve been eating at Jimmy’s since before they moved. The new location is so nice! This is a great place to order a whole pizza, or to grab a few individual slices and a draft beer. I suggest trying a few different slices that th
I ordered delivery because I was craving an NYC style pizza. Jimmy’s blew me away. This pizza was SO SO GOOD!!! The pizza sauce is absolutely delicious, like freshly crushed, super juicy flavorful tomatoes. Also ordered the garlic knots- very good as well! Thick doughy and covered in butter and garl
Loved every slice I’ve had at Jimmy’s, and am only mad I haven’t come sooner. The Tiramisu was also amazing - love that you can get a table easily. I also left my wallet there once, and their really nice staff went through great lengths to contact me to ensure I got it back!
Thumbs Up! The Pizza Aficionadoughs enjoyed Jimmy's. We were happy to revel in a variety. Wonderful dining atmosphere! The pizza was good with a few shortcomings. The crust varies in crispiness, the Margherita pizza sauce was too sweet, and the pizza was too NY style greasy for some. The beignets
Love Jimmy's even before they moved. This is a very comfortable spot. All the choices of slices do not disappoint. Loved the Vegetarian slice on this day. Staff is always friendly and place is clean. But the pizza is always tasty. Added a picture of our next visit with a made to order pie. This one
This is really solid New York style pizza! I highly recommend. They do whole pies and by the slice. Service seemed friendly, the space is pretty nice and quite large. We got a sausage slice, pepperoni slice, white slice, burrata slice, garlic knots, and a butter cookie, all of which we enjoyed. The
Best New York style pizza in Chicago. Friendly staff and their new large space makes for a good relaxed atmosphere. Quick service and a good beer selection.
If you love thin crust, this is soooooo good. They had about 8 to 10 different slices options, and we ordered a fungi and a Giardiniera sausages (specialty). Both were fabulous!!
Great place to have pizza, lots of fun, great staff. We ordered a whole pizzaand 2 beers, came quickly, and was it was very good. Will definitely go back. Great place to take kids too
If you love NY style pizza and don’t know about a Jimmy’s Pizza Cafe you are not living life. I loved their original location in Foster but this extra location is spacious, comfortable, clean and fun to hang at. Even the bathrooms are impressive. They have even more styles of pie on offer and the qu
Must visit! I grew up in this area. Back in the 80/90s this was the old Erin Glen Pub. Me and the neighborhood kids would buy a basket of fries for 50 cents. Since the pub, the restaurant has changed owners and concepts at least five times over the last two decades. The owners of Jimmy’s Pizza Cafe
Best New York style pizza in Chicago. The atmosphere is great. The place is really clean and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Prices are comparable to other local pizza shops. Free and paid parking nearby.
A friend and I came for lunch! I ordered the kale and ricotta pizza and they got the meat lovers. We also ordered the beignets. We absolutely loved the pizza but I wouldn’t get the beignets again, just hallow with powdered sugar on them. The place was empty for lunch and the staff was friendly!
Pizzas we tried: BBQ Chicken: 5/5 excellent Meat Lover: 5/5 excellent Corned Beef: 4/5 would prefer meatballs or chunks of Corned Beef instead of thin strips Burrata: 4/5 sauce can be too sweet Sausage: 4/5 good but not quite great Margherita: 3/5 not much basil or mozzarella Garlic knots: 5/5 exce
I went here after seeing it was one of the top pizza spots for a new york style slice. Staff was really friendly, the pizza slice was pretty decent. I ordered fries and they were 6 bucks, more than a slice of pizza. It was a small box of just plain fries. Ended up paying 20 bucks for 2 slices and th
Best NY style slice of pizza you can get in the city! If have been in search of new york style pizza do not look any further. This spot has some decent history in the north side and has always been consistent in delivering a quality slice. May be on the pricer end for a slice but more than well wort
