Habana Libre - Chicago - Photo album

Definitely pricey, like what everyone else has been saying. However, the lunch specials aren't bad, with most items under $9. I really enjoyed the empanadas, they had a very buttery crust with well seasoned stuffings. I was unimpressed with the Cuban sandwich, but liked the crispiness of the brea
Food was excellent and for the area I thought the price was just right. I've never had fried yucca before and it turns out to be a great french fry replacement. I highly recommend the cubano sandwich with an iced coffee!
This place has scrumptious empanadas. I also tried the papa rellena and ropa vieja sándwich, which were both full of flavor. I saved the best for last, a delicious guava and cheese empanada. 🤤 (sry no picture of that one)
Excellent Cuban food. The best cafe con leche ever.
It's brightly decorated, almost like if you were outside. It's also brightly lit. It was empty except a group of four people when I visited. Lots of choices, not being super hungry I went for empanadas and yucca fries. Chicken empanadas were great, the cheese and guava one was weird which I knew but
First time here and I got the Cubano sandwich to go. Delicious! Very nice lady who took my order.
Food was amazing!!! Waiter was great!! Decor in the place is very homey, and just a beautiful place all together. We loved that it was BYOB, we were expecting it to be like 90 miles cuban cafe where they serve you a pitcher for your group, but not here. That sucked, other than that, I recommend it.
Very nice staff, very tasty sandwiches! I enjoyed my cubano, and would come back for seconds. Portions were generous and super-filling. As others have mentioned, it's BYOB. If you forget to bring something to drink, there are numerous liquor stores nearby. There are plenty of menu choices for chi
This place is great. Good food and friendly service. The server remembers me and my wife every time and knows exactly what we order every time. Support their small business!
Delicious. The food was a perfect compliment to a long hot day, and absolutely wonderful. The hot sauce is homemade and compliments the meal. I would recommend this as a place to eat at if you're in town.
Habana Libre has very authentic Cuban food and large portions for the price! Service: We went during off hours, and there was just one server, but she was very on top of things and walked by every 5 minutes in case we needed anything. Ambience: The place is decorated in a way that will bring you
Went there for the first time yesterday and got the sampler platter. It was fantastic. I absolutely loved everything - steak, pork, shrimp - it was all great!
My husband and I go here all the time, and it never fails. The food is quality, legit, and not overpriced. Just don’t forget to BYOB b4 you get there. If you forget, there’s a liquor store 2 doors down.
Food was delicious! Service was great! My mother is Cuban and this brought back great memories of my childhood.we had lechón asado, a side of yuca, and flan for dessert.
Quite good. Food was excellent and service was quick and efficient at lunch time. Waitress was also cashier so impressive. Also, had good knowledge of menu.
Great food & equally great service
