Cool bar. Been wanting to visit the oldest continuing running bar in Chicago. Another item knocked off my bucket list.

Great place to watch The Cubbies win. Friendly waitresses, solid grub, and fresh draught beer. Grab a table outside when it's warm.

Nice local pub to get good drinks and pub food. Easy to watch sports on the TVs. The staff is very friendly. The drinks are still made and tasty.

Stopped by on a Sunday to kill some some before we had to catch a flight and had a great time! The staff was super friendly and accommodating, service was fast. We didn't get a chance to try the food but would love to next time. Definitely worth checking out 😊

Came here right before a show and the place was packed, but they were super accommodating in letting me stand by the bar and wait for a table. I was probably in the way and inconvenient for them but they were cool about it. Then Margo the bartender (owner?) gave me a free drink because I wasn’t rude like some other customers. In summation, nice bar, nice people, be nice.

Wow, what a great neighborhood tavern. The beer selection was very good and served in correct glasses and very cold and crisp. The food selection was not your typical tavern. We felt like we were eating at a friend's house. If you can only order one item, order the Chicken Pot Pie! Easily the best Pot Pie I have ever eaten. Well worth the extra travel time north of the City Center into this charming spot in an upscale neighborhood. The decor and finishings give a glimpse into the history of this spot which is supposed to be the oldest operating tavern in Chicago. Staff was helpful and patient with first timers. Highly recommend.

Fantastic food at this neighborhood gem. Chicken pot pie was delicious as was the beef with mushrooms. Great service and flexible kitchen. Small step to enter, but roomy inside for a wheelchair.

My friends and I have been getting together at Marge's since 2019, and it's always the perfect atmosphere. We'll keep going as long as Marge's is still open!

Classic Chicago neighborhood tavern. Budget friendly drinks, welcoming bar staff, local crowd and cozy atmosphere. Great spot to grab a beer and chat with a friend without needing to yell over the music.

A great Irish pub to spend St Patrick's or any time. Large and friendly with enough to but not so many that you don't have a pub intimacy. One of the oldest bars in Chicago so for some people it's a destination. Guinness on tap with a great beer selection.

I enjoyed an excellent dinner. Marge's isn't the same without Lisa and Meg there.
