Strings Ramen Lakeview - Chicago - Photo album

I got there just before close. They took my order and got it ready in good time. It was excellent. Of spice levels 1 through 5, I ordered level 4. Spicy as heck. Don't mess with this if you can't handle spicy foods. If you can, by all means give this a shot. Find a level that's good for you and get
Pork in the tonkotsu ramen with kurobuta was tender with satisfying flavors that was not overpowering. A little pull with your chopsticks was enough to pull them apart. Woodear mushroom stood out because it was fresh and springy. Quality of noodles and broth were pleasing. Shoyu prime ramen overal
Quick, flavorful, and filling! For an appetizer, we got the Chicken Gyoza which came with a delicious dipping sauce. To eat, I had the Tonkotsu with Kuro Buta and pork belly as my meat. The broth was so rich and flavorful and the piece of pork belly was huge. The appetizer and ramen were enough to f
Small cozy ramen shop that does the job. Tonkotsu: Get! This one had an amazingly rich broth that was a tad top oily/fatty for me. It was still tasty but my preference is a little bit cleaner for this. The noodles were great with a good bite and firmness to it. The pork belly was a big chunk of mea
I got the Tonkotsu spicy clam and pork ramen bowl and it was FANTASTIC. Great level of spicyness and robust flavor. $15 but it fills you up more than most ramen places will. Service was very good and they played cool indie music the whole time. Great vibes 10/10.
Really great little ramen spot, our new go-to. Miso broth was flavorful, steak was tender. The baby octopus salad is great too. Best of all it’s BYOB!
Good selection of veg and non-veg items on the menu. Tried the Shoyu and Spicy Miso ramen. The noodles were definitely different from other ramen places, very fresh and chewy. Overall a good place to try, but it does get very busy on weekends and has limited seating.
We are vegetarian and had no problem finding something to eat. The portions are huge and there are cool Japanese drinks. Service is quick and friendly. A great spot to go when it's cold and rainy. Noodles are perfectly cooked, the egg is perfectly cooked, and the broth is always so yummy.
Strings Ramen is an incredible restaurant that serves some of the best ramen dishes I've had. The Pork Gyoza was a great starter and the Shoyu Prime Ramen was amazing, with the perfect amount of savory flavor. I added a heaping small spoonful of chili sauce to mine, and it added the right amount of
Fast, friendly service, yummy food and multiple vegetarian options. Portion sizes are large! Pictured is the Shoyu Vegetarian Ramen
Tried the Tonkotsu and Hell level 2 ramen. I loved both flavors, but hell level 2 made my nose run and if you slurp you're liable to choke. Definitely wouldn't chance it on a first date but that's your risk to take. The service is 10/10. It's a small place with only a few seats but they keep it mov
Great little spot for ramen. Interior decor is warm and lovely. Service was fast and food was delicious. Prices seemed reasonable. Really happy about this ramen spot in the neighborhood! Chicken gyoza were pretty outstanding I enjoyed my Shoyu with Kuro Buta ramen bowl Edamame was fine, could have
Great food, great service! Our server was fast, friendly and great recommendations. We got the Tonkotsu with Kurt Buta and chose pork belly as well as the Mazd Soba also with pork belly! Pork gyoza to start as well with delicious peach soda. So tasty and came out fast! A meal I’ll definitely be crav
I always get the kinoko shoyu ramen. It’s absolutely delicious, so savory and filling. My favorite ramen I’ve ever had.
Good chain (fastfood like) ramen restaurant. From starters, edamame and baby octopus(with seaweed) are fresh appetizers for sure. Gyu don and miso turkey are fair main dishes.
Perfect place for a cold night in Chicago! Good Ramen options to choose from. I also tried their Sui Gyoza but unfortunately they only had vegetable option available. I tried the traditional Tonkotsu Ramen it was it delicious. The place was full and the service of quick.
On a cold & rainy day, Strings Ramen hit the spot! It is conveniently located off of Belmont's Red Line, and the ramen is delicious. I was most impressed with the flsvorsble broth! I would absolutely recommend checking it out. Pro Tip: It is a small restaurant so during busy hours be prepared to hav
Spectacular Ramen! Had a hard time deciding, they all sounded soooo good. We ordered two Tonkotsu Spicy Clam and Pork ramen, and for full. Very cozy BYOB place in Lakeview. The service is super quick and the staff is very friendly. Worth the trip!!
First time at this Strings Ramen Shop location. We came right after the Cubs home opener and I guess we beat the rush because we were able to sit anywhere. Pictured and ordered here is the Tonkotsu Premium. (Video also taken - check out on my Google Profile Photos or this spot's Google Page Photos).
