Low key cute bartenders busy but not too busy cheapish beers no complaints!

I've been coming to The Maproom for longer than I care to admit, my husband and I went on dates here. It's a solid neighborhood joint qith a great beer selection. It's cozy and neighborhoody in the best way. It's more crowded on the weekend but even then we always manage to get a seat.

The best of unpretentious neighborhood bar vibes with a Belgian craft beer focus that elevates the spot to worth-the-trip. Staff are efficient and friendly and remember regulars and greet new folks. One of the few spots that can swing coffee shop vibes in the morning with folks on their laptops, casual daytime beers, and evening fun all together. No food here, but multiple options within a couple blocks to order from.

A very nice pub, has a vibe similar to hostel bars in Europe. It has a good selection of guest beers, domestic, Belgian, German, and also British from time to time.
The beer is served in a appropriate volumes and glasses which sounds boring, but having a 500ml of dunkel or a 568ml of stout is strangely satisfying! It adds to the international feel of the bar.
The prices are fair, and what you'd expect, they serve hot drinks too, which means the atmosphere is good throughout the day.

We stop by the Map Room for our morning coffee all the time! They also have dog treats so it’s our dog’s favorite spot as well.

Great bar with a wide, rotating menu of fantastic beers. Bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly and the regulars make it feel like a micro-community. My favorite spot.

If you like beer, it’s absolutely the place to go.
All of the people working there are wonderful and I want all of them to win the lottery.
I hesitate to leave this review because I don’t want my favorite bar to get too crowded. But they deserve praise.

It’s been 13 years since I learned of the Map Room while I was living in England. I’ve finally made it and damn am I happy I did. Hopefully a second visit will happen in my future but much sooner!

Hey whaddyaknow? I may be out again. You do realize tomorrow is a holiday, I hope . So yes, ok, Map Room . It’s a room that has maps ,and also beer. Yes, likely other things as well. Friendly Freds gather here. Not a lot of prententious Pauls. Great gosh almighty , they have something. Just good vibery for those vibing vibers. Just stopped in for a quick drink. They have a wide selection of beers on tap that are interesting and not your normal selection. They also have a ton of bottle and can choices for more beer, or cider if that’s more your style. They also have coffee! Friendly atmosphere and lots of maps and travel books, which adds a nice feeling.
