Great atmosphere, great pizza, and excellent service. My first time having. Detroit style pizza and it was amazing. Their wood fired pizza is equally as good. Drinks are pretty good as well. Trivia on Thursday nights as well which was fun.
They are well known for Detroit styled pizza - which taste amazing. I was there in a Thursday evening as my friend is organizing a trivia party in Paulie Gee‘s. Went for brunch and let me tell you... it was delicious! I got the PBJ sandwich, and it was the best I ever had! It was sweet but not too sweet. It was the right amount of crunchy. The SEC sandwich was soooo good. I left feeling full but not greasy full. I drove an hour to get there and would again.

THE best Detroit style pizza in Chicago. I was a hardcore Peqoud's fan before finding Paulie Gee's but this nails it. They also have a really good vegetarian pepperoni and sausage available for the non meat eaters. All in all I probably won't ever go anywhere else. I know deep dish is the thing here
Really cool interior that looks like it used to be an old bank, but updated with rustic furnishings. Great food and fair prices.
They forgot the pepperoni on my pizza, but they were able to quickly re-fire it. Everyone makes mistakes, but those with character make up for them. Great service.
I got the name off top 25 pizza of Chicago and omg it was delicious and I had my waitress pick everything…. It was exceptional
I swear they do Detroit deep dish better than Detroit. Tall cheesy crust with the beautiful cup and char pepperonis. The sauce has such a nice balance that's light and sweet. The dough is nice fluffy. Probably one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time.

Paulie Gs is amazing pizza and great atmosphere. It's a great local neighborhood spot that should be enjoyed by anyone. Have multiple styles of pizza that are all executed to perfection in the wood fired ovens. Always enjoy a slice when we go here.
Stopped here as part of a pizza tour. The Detroit style pizza was the single best pizza I have ever had! Drizzled with spicy honey, fresh tomatoes, crispy pepperoni's and the crust could be sold in a bakery. Worth a trip out of your way. Can't wait to go back.
