All I can say is wow. They have done an incredible job of preserving a piece of Prince Edward Island history! They were extremely accommodating, the food was great and the service was friendly.
Shared a lunch with a few Club members, (friends). What a great time, food and service excellent 👌! The atmosphere of this place is great.....staff working there seem to be always smiling. The view off the top deck is breathtaking. Thank-You Columbia Yacht Club, well done!
Amazing food, drinks, service, atmosphere, and views. They are also making an effort to continuously improve which does not go unnoticed by the members and those who visit.
Can't say enough good things about this club. High praise to the staff for making this such an enjoyable part of Chicago.
Lovely place for a evening or morning walk. Early morning is better because you get to see a great sunrise. I loved the run just that the track is concrete all over around this patch.
Fantastic Service As Always, Consistent if not better than when I was here 20 Years ago; Came for a friend's Wedding, it was Splendid! Total Recommend, even if you come up to just catch some views and The On-board Restaurant
I took part in several sailing lessons with ColYC this summer. The instructors are knowledgable and attentive. Tristan is an awesome consultant/admin who listens to feedback from students and adjusts the lessons as needed. I did a majority of my sailing with Coach Mike and he was top notch. Than
The food and serice was superb. I did a wedding there and I have to say that this was an awesome experience ever! Jeremy and staff was awesome to work with and hope to work with them in the future!
Most unique Yacht club on the Chicago Lakeshore. Columbia Yacht Club is on an actual ship! It's named the Abegweit, which is a Mi'kmaq tribal word for Prince Edward Island, which translates to "Cradle On The Waves". The Abby, as she is known to members, is a decommissioned ice breaking ferry boat th
I had a great experience sailing. Great view of the city and the lake from the top of the boat.
cool club showing kids how to sail. This place has a nice view of the city.
Columbia yacht club is an amazing and affordable club for sailors, families, boaters or even just as a social scene. The club is an old Canadian ice breaker ship and has been well maintained and offers excellent food and drink options in the formal dining room and bar areas.

Very welcoming club with a delicious restaurant to go to after sailing.
Went with former boss to get drinks and dinner. The margarita was excellent. Boss suggested the monthly burger which was a great choice. The Brie and apple compost (that’s what tasted like) paired well with the burger itself. As I am not a member I can’t say that I would/could go again. However
Always a fantastic treat. Excellent service, love the cocktails & dinner is always delicious. Such a gem with the best view in Chicago!
As member, I am very proud to be continuing the upkeep of this vintage vessel. Columbia yacht club was founded in 1892 and part of its charter says that it should always be on some sort of vessel, be at a barge, an old clubship, or in the current iteration, a Canadian passenger, rail, and car ferry.
This boat is awesome! Spent the night on board with a Scouting event. Got to sleep under the Christmas Tree, like when I was little. The boat has beautiful wood throughout. Staff accommodating. The boat was exquisitely decorated! Great venue for our 250 person Scouting Event!
Cool club, that gives you access to learn how to sail.
