First, I want to start off by saying that my family and I have been eating from Daley's since I was 7. They used to be right across the street on 63rd right next to the beauty supply store, which used to be a clothing store. It was a small place, but the atmosphere was homely. We never had a problem with our food or service. On this day, I took my mom out for breakfast. I decided to get a cornedbeef skillet with hash browns and scrambled eggs with a side of 2 biscuits and a side of sausage gravy. My mom got 2 salmon patties with grits scrambled eggs and 2 biscuits. When I tell you that food was what I needed to start my day off right, it was! This plays has always been my favorite and the new set up is more spacious and bright. Also when you go don't forget to tip your waiters.
First time here with my brother and sister. Will come again and try other dishes, maybe the patty melt that was a recommendation from our waitress. The BLT club sandwich was delicious, and I couldn't eat it all but was still eaten and shared with my son, who will most likely join me next time.

First time coming here.
We always pass it but never gave them a chance. Definitely worth the wait . Food was fresh and delicious 🤤
Solid diner directly under the much improved cottage grove green line station. Extremely classic stuff, no frills but good options and classic breakfast items are well done. I had the western skillet with hash browns and biscuits, nothing to complain about whatsoever. Reasonable prices, fast service, good food. Definitely one of the better spots in woodlawn and it’s been around forever for a reason.
I really appreciate Ms. Sheryl. My order was not correct and I called and Ms. Sheryl with her positive attitude help me. I did get the items that I didn’t receive. She is very pleasant and her smile was a ray of sunshine. Thank you Ms. Sheryl.
We catered for about 100+ people for our Thanksgiving Dinner. It was absolutely delicious, and we are so grateful they could deliver to our office downtown. Even though I had to pay at the restaurant, I would go again in a heartbeat to have this food catered. It is 110% worth it. Everyone in our office raved about it and kept saying they need to check it out. Shout out to the cooks, Mike the owner for being such a pleasure to work with for making this happen. Please go here you will love it!
I've been to Daley's once before my recent visit, and I'm sure that I'll be back. I bought my Thanksgiving 🦃 dinner from Daley's. My meatloaf was excellent. The Mac and cheese was really good too. The highlight was the dressing, which is made the same way my mom makes it. 😋 It was damnlicious! The corn muffins was outstanding as well. I want to give a shout out to the staff. The customer service was very courteous and answered all of my questions. It's bad these days at almost EVERY restaurant l go to. In sum, I'll be back to Daley's soon, maybe for Xmas dinner. See you soon?
First time patron, I was visiting Chicago. My Aunt said this was a new restaurant she had been wanting to try. Nice atmosphere, the waitress and host were very warm and friendly. If I lived in Chicago I definitely would go back. I ordered the scrambled eggs with cheese and grits. The coffee was hot and very good with the waitress offering to refill. The food was plentiful for the price. In fact I was full and couldn't finish it all. Top shelf eating for a brunch for late mornings.
This place has a great breakfast menu and the food is good. It's a little pricey but what restaurant isn't nowadays. Waitresses are friendly and attentive.
