La Ciudad - Chicago - Photo album

I heard such great things about this place for years, so i was very excited when Chase and i went there for the first time. Especially since they have a BYOB policy! The owners are such lovely people. La Ciudad did a amazing job of creating the perfect dinner ambiance. With subtle yet perfect little
I have passed this place a hundred times and have never thought to stop in. I decided that needed to change and I absolutely was not disappointed. From when I first walked into the restaurant to the time I left, I was astonished how friendly everyone was and how phenomenal the food tasted. Everythin
Great food and the owner's brother was there as our server. Nice menu. Simpler less expensive dishes as well as a few higher priced specialty dishes. Decor looks kind of fancy from the outside but the atmosphere is very relaxed and inviting! I will visit again!
Great food. Friendly staff, and extremely amazingly affordable prices, but they will charge you for a corkage fee if you do bring in a dessert and they slice the cake for you. (It wasn't told to us prior, but it would have been nice to know.). Again, great place for authentic Mexican food.
I absolutely loved this place. If you're looking for a quaint, unique place with excellent service, scratch-made entrees and romantic ambiance, you should definitely go here! I enjoyed the perfect birthday dinner (2/25/16) with exactly what I wanted to drink (since it's BYOB). We had combo fajitas a
Lovely place in a modest area. La Ciudad did a marvelous job of creating a lovely ambiance within a parking lot. Food was tasty with sufficient portions. Was a costly meal—about $14 for a burrito with rice and beans. The servers were lovely and authentic—which created a very positive, comfortable at
Great food and great staff. BYOB which is also a perk and if you bring tequila they'll make margaritas. Don't hesitate to order the pork chops as they're amazing. Went back and still amazing. Staff was super friendly, place was very clean and food was ridiculous.
Food was OK. Their BYOB policy is always nice if you enjoy bringing your own wine or spirits. I would rate at 3 star because of their average food, but their prices are reasonable giving them an extra point in my book.
After a few months of not going here, tonight I was reminded how much the staff are wonderful. The head chef is so welcoming he makes this feel like home. And the food is absolutely delicious, hands down!
Food tasted amazing! I ordered a trea leches cake for 5.95 and got the smallest piece ever. Again food was really good but piece of cake was so small for that price
Food is very, very good. We're from Texas and appricate the fine art that is Mexican cuisine and were impressed by the small modest resturant. Friendly service and BYOB, so come prepared.
I love the food at this place, and the people. Service is always excellent, the chef occasionally comes out to say hello, and the mole enchiladas are exceptional.
Food is great! Staff is super - attentive but not hovering. Byob is a plus. Loved everything I have tried. Superb chiles rellenos.
Good Mexican food and a nice little location. The salsas they bring out before you order could be better, but otherwise this place is great.
Celebrated my birthday there... What a fun time! Good was great, service awesome . And staff beyond friendly ! Will be back... Again and again!
