This place was fine but more memorable for it's missteps than its food. The food was fine. I wasn't really impressed, but I wasn't disspointed either. It's better than what I can make at home, so I guess that is good? The staff was very friendly and helpful, but one member had headphones on the whole time. Every time I had I question, I had to repeat myself because they couldn't hear me through whatever it is they were listening to and had to remove their headphones. Don't get me wrong, they were very friendly, but it still made me feel like I was bothering them. The atmosphere was okay. I appreciated the colors and learning about new spices! That was real nice and fun. The soda machine though was less than ideal. Most of the drinks were unavailable (see photo) and the ice maker was overflowing onto the floor. Not sure if that is in Nando's control or not though. Overall, given the number of other options in the area, I'd probably try others before I came back. It's not that I wouldn't go back, just that there isn't enough there to make me want to go back soon.

Absolutely fantastic! Some the best grilled chicken we’ve ever had! Ordered Chicken Rainbow Bowl with thighs and hot sauce. Added a side of slaw, very yummy. Wife order the same, but with white meat and lime sauce. Super fresh ingredients and flavors out of this world. Will be back next time we’re in town. Unique vibe in the dining room with distinctive music. Great dining experience!

Tasty chicken and sauce! TL:DR Tasty chain specializing in chicken dishes. Very tasty main dishes and the sides were great! A bit pricey, but what isn't these days, especially in downtown Chicago? Worth a visit. Details: Ended up here after an afternoon flight, looking for a bite close to the hotel. Did not disappoint, and exceeded expectations in several areas! The atmosphere was fine, eclectic decor and a view down Michigan Ave that wasn't bad for only being on the second floor. The food was delicious! Chicken was tasty and I tried every sauce from their sauce bar... all of them were decent, but I highly recommend the Lemon Herb and the Extra Hot. We also tried the peas and the brussell sprouts, which were both very good, although the sprouts were a bit soggy for my taste. A highlight was the French fries with their Piri Ranch! Delicious, and worth the extra buck you pay for that specialty ranch! There wasn't much service to speak of - you order online, you get your own drink, so you don't interact much, but everyone on staff was friendly with us, and the food came out quickly (under 10 minutes). We'll be sure to visit again when we're in the mood for some delicious chicken and sauce!

We had chicken thighs, spicy chicken caesar wrap, fries, rice, and mac n cheese. The thighs were alright, well cooked but not overly flavorful (extra sauce at the table did help some), not as good as Nando's I've had in the UK. The wrap was similarly alright, sort of just a caesar salad in a wrap. Don't get that if you actually want to taste chicken. The fries and rice were very good. The mac n cheese was clumpy but tasted good. Unfortunately they were out of garlic bread when we went. Staff were good enough, but we did see a significant pileup of food at the counter waiting to be run to tables.

A tasty food spot with lots of authentic food flavors and dishes. A staple restaurant in the UK, it is great to see it this side of the pond. The prices were reasonable considering you are in the center of Chicago. Table seated but you can order your self on phone or at the register. Bottomless sodas offered. No parking from the venue but there is lots of street parking or parking ramps to utilize.

So good! I love their chicken. We choose medium for the sauce. It wasn’t spicy, but it was smoky and delicious. The fries and rice were amazing too. My only complaint would be more silverware rather than plastic forks/knives as it’s harder to eat. Will be back soon!

Stopped by Nandos due to the convenience of being in the area I was in. Was looking to try something new and some South African cuisine sounded great! The thigh and mighty sandwich was delicious as were the fries. As someone who frequently eats spicy food I can tell you that even their hottest sauce was fairly mild to me. Their extra spicy and garlic sauce had a nice sour kick to them and we're good condiments to have. Their wing appetizer was ok, small wings however. The ambiance was nice, dining on their patio provided a nice view of Michigan Ave. Overall, food tasted great. Just a bit pricey for what you get. I'd still go back though.

Had a great first visit, dine in on their second floor balcony area. They were out of several menu items, even though this was just after opening on a Monday. The food was great, we tried medium spice, but will try hot next time.

First time trying this restaurant, and I liked it a lot!! Eating with a view of Michigan Avenue is always nice. Ambiance is fun. The employee who greeted us later came to make sure we're having a good dining experience. It was very nice. We ordered our food through the link, and they brought our food to us. It took less than 15 minutes to receive our order on a busy time . I tried their 1/2 chicken (hot sauce) with ceaser salad and also had a chicken leg with a bowl of mash potato. Chicken was incredibly delicious, soft, and juicy inside. And the skin was crispy. We liked the sauce a lot. I am happy to come back and try their other options.

the food is great, had it a few time at different location, location is very nice the 2nd flood open air setup. get the Chicken and don't do any sauce, get it on the side this way you can taste the chicken and can add the sauce later if you want a kick. the service a bit lacking compare to the other locations.

Pretty good. The food is on point. The only complaint I would have is no one told me where to get the sauces. Is it self service or have to ask for it? Overall, not bad and it’s in a very convenient location.

Nando's PERi-PERi - Flavorful Delight in Chicago Prior to my visit, the Nando's buzz had me intrigued, and it quickly lived up to its reputation. I opted for the "Nandoca's Choice" – a succulent butterflied chicken breast sandwich. The flavors were delicious, and the mac and cheese and garlic bread on the side rounded out the meal perfectly. Atmosphere: The atmosphere was a highlight, as the second-floor diner provided views overlooking Chicago's bustling Michigan Ave, offering an elevated dining experience. Service: Despite the long wait for the food, the servers were friendly. I'd give m first Nando's experience a well-deserved 4.7/5. The enticing flavors and pleasant atmosphere make it an excellent visit.

I've always loved Nando's, and it was great they had it in Chicago so I had to have it. Convenient to order and pay via the app. Once paid, they'll bring the food over to you.

The food taste is fantastic. But don't expect to get food like the website pictures. You have lots of choices and flavors. The bathroom floor was very wet and so slippery. The women bathroom light was not working, and we used phone lights!!

The chicken, as usual, is excellent. Love their sauces and their sides. They are fast and efficient. You're not going for personalized, attentive service. You're going for the excellent food! And while you're not going for the ambiance or decor either, this location has really nice decor. Probably the nicest Nando's I've been to. Strongly recommend it.
