El Mariachi Restaurant - Chicago - Photo album

Went here for a quick bite. It was busy and they don't have a lot of seating but we were able to get a table. The food was unique in a way that was different than Mexican food I've had, but was definitely very good. It's always good to try something I've had in the past, but prepared differently
Good people, always great service, shoutout Mateo. Cute spot. Cold mug for your beer. Delicious fajitas. Perfect margaritas. Two types of salsa come standard. The chicken soup is the real hidden gem though. If you don’t love this place, you’re a monster.
Great service, large portions and a wide variety of food and sauces. Very cozy small restaurant. Very popular for takeout. If you had to eat alone, you would feel very comfortable with staff making you feel as if you were a family friend coming to visit. Very convenient for people staying at the
I love this place!!!!! ❤️. It’s so cute! They have a small, family owned feel and the food is out of this world good. Large portions and a great price. It gets busy so I try to go on off times. Check it out if you live in the neighborhood or are visiting Chicago. I give it a 5⭐️ Jerry (the pigeon) g
This place is super cozy - the food and service are phenomenal. My pictures aren’t great bc the light at the restaurant is pretty dim. We ordered the Oaxaca sopes appetizer, the plantain mole enchiladas and a sampler. Everything was scrumptious!
Love this small restaurant. They have different types of salsa and amazing Enchiladas. The ground beef is good quality unlike some mex spots. I normally go through a few bowls of the salsa. My only complaint is that it opens at 4pm.
Super filling and friendly service. Burritos are flavorful
Great portions, fresh and fast. Was quoted 15 minutes for a pickup order but waited a little less than 10. Nachos are well made, individually, not just a pile of chips and toppings. A+
Cute little Mexican restaurant in a great neighborhood. The carne asada is amazing. I always get it with the verde sauce. Service is always great and friendly. They make an awesome margarita but also have great Mexican beer selections.
Customer service was great. Small place and good food. I ordered the three enchiladas
This location is so cozy I love it! The staff is so nice and the food is fantastic. I’ve never gotten something I don’t like. Taco salad and enchiladas are my favorite
This is the best Mexican restaurant in the Lakeshore East area. Family owned and always so friendly and warm. Love the music they play too !
Very good Mexican restaurant. Being a Texan, I have some experience with Mexican restaurants and this would have been in my top five in Texas. Definitely one of my top three Mexican restaurants here in Chicago. Plus the employees were very friendly and nice. We will be back.
A very small restaurant with terrific food. Even the chips are great! They're able to open the front of the restaurant to the street in warm weather, really adds a nice urban feel. My favorite go-to Mexican place in this neighborhood!
Love this small and intimate restaurant. Great for a date, and somewhere I am looking forward to bringing my parents when they visit. Best tortilla chips I’ve ever had. I recommend the enchilada with ground beef and mole sauce. The food taste like it was made with love. Keep up the great work!
It is a very small restaurant with about 12 tables. The nachos were great. As a party of 5 we all asked for different dishes and everyone liked the food. At the end we had churros and flan. The flan was a new taste for me and I really liked it.
Great service! Large plates of food and plenty of vegetarian options. We tried the burrito, the chimichanga (deep fried burrito!) and the plantain enchiladas which were great! They also have good margarita pitchers!
