Cafe Orchid - Chicago - Photo album

My friends brought my boyfriend and I here while we were visiting. I really enjoyed the nice quiet atmosphere and the Turkish decorations. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We ordered the lentil fingers for an appetizer and I wish we had ordered more of them. They were outstanding! Perfect fo
The lunch menu prices are great! The food itself was flavorful and crazy big. I can't believe the platters they served were just lunch portions. I had the beef with rice, while my husband had a sandwich. The sandwich was as long as his torso, filled with meat. We also had the eggplant cold appetizer
The food is delicious and the portions are generous. Be sure to try the lentil soup and the lentil fingers. The Falafel special was enormous and so full of flavor.
It was nice. My roomate is Turkish and I've been into Turkish food (specially because I've been losing weight). We ordered fried liver appetiser. I've only tried Foie Gras so it was new for me. Very nice taste and it looks more like an Entree than appetiser
Best Turkish food in Chicago. Lots of room. 2 dining rooms. BYOB does not serve liquor. They delivers locally as well. The place is loved by the locals and does very well.
I’m a big fan of this place, I’ve been many times and have never had a bad experience. The food is top notch (I get a different entree most of the time but ALWAYS the Feta Wraps) and the staff is so, so kind. Outdoor seating abounds. Highly recommend!
I stop just to buy a coffee to go but they have just espresso which taste so good. Didn’t try any food but pretty sure it taste amazing, very nice atmosphere inside. Recommend
Consistently some of the best Turkish food I've had since I lived in Turkey. Cheap prices and fast service - also, they deliver!
This is our weekly go to spot every Friday, party of 4, for 3 years now. We are never disappointed with the tasty, high quality, and consistent food, and the excellent service we receive every time. The serving size is incredible for the price. The team working here is amazing! We look forward to ou
My favorite Turkish restaurant in the city, this place is truly a undiscovered secret gem. Family owned and operated, the staff are courteous and attentive. If you go on Valentines day they usually have a Belly Dancer! lol All of the food options are well crafted, I'm a big fan of their kabobs and
This place has AMAZING food! My boyfriend and I stopped by here on a whim and were very impressed. The staff is friendly and the food is phenomenal. Everything from the bread to the grape leaves to the lamb was delicious. My favorites were the meat pie (appetizer) and uskudar (lamb entree). The rest
I moved into the neighborhood last September and this has been my best find. Their hummus is fresh and authentic. The bread that comes with it is homemade and delicious. I will sometimes get the donner kebab to go and it's good for two meals. The restaurant is a lovely place to enjoy dinner outs
Great lunch place. BYOB and lunch specials are fine. Haven't had anything bad there. Delicious strong tea offered. Mediterranean decorations inside with cushions and pillows on comfy seating. Covered outside seating also available. Service staff acceptable. Open kitchen. Decent shared parking lot.
Absolutely charming and cozy. The food was cooked perfectly; the flavors were gorgeous and comforting. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and super nice! I can't wait to stop in again. There were so many vegetarian options!!
Don't judge this restaurant by its outward appearance, it has fabulous food! A little pricey for a full meal, but worth every bite. I typically start with the homemade hummus and pitas, followed by meat kebabs, and Moroccan mint tea with Baklava. Don't be afraid to order this food for delivery -
