Emmit's Irish Pub - Chicago - Photo album

“When you lie, you lie with a beautiful person; when you cheat, you cheat death; when you think you need a drink, stop by Emmit’s!” You only have a week or so as this fine establishment is passing into oblivion like much of this section of North Milwaukee. But everyone there from the owners on down
One of the best Irish pubs in the country & a staple in Chicago! Everyone is so welcoming and will make you feel like you’re part of a family, great to go with friends but also find it perfect for dining solo. The Buffalo chicken wrap is my fav & always make sure to get a pint!
Super friendly place. I hear from another customer that the bartender was the best in town and yes, he was right! I asked for a margarita with a little spice in it and even though they didn’t serve that he went to the kitchen and grabbed a few jalapeño slices to add to my drink. I totally recommend
My niece took her mom and myself to the West loop area for dinner. The area has changed quite a bit. First time in Emmit's pub. It was crowded for a Friday night. Very nice. We had a couple of drinks. Met a couple of brothers from the St Louis area there. Very nice young men. It was a nice place.
Great food (and wings). Amazing beer selection. A Chicago classic!
I was in town on business and my group met here after dinner. Chris was the bartender. Really great guy! He made our night! Chris opened up the grill even after they had shut it down for the night. He also poured a perfect Guinness round. Can’t tell you enough how professional and knowledgeabl
I really love this place, but I did have one poorer experience. A week or so before the St. Patrick's Day festivities, I called the pub and requested that they play the rugby games since it was St. Patrick's Day and that's a very popular sport in Ireland. They told me that it wasn't a problem if I j
Great bar with pretty meh food. The great thing is the food comes out quick! A little too quick.. it’s fun for game days and there’s always a ton of seating. It’s either dead or packed. I also saw a bunch of people playing chess last time. Maybe there’s a chess night? Mainly just a sports bar.
This is a great Irish pub in Chicago. The food is good and they have a solid beer selection and a good selection of spirits if that's your drink of choice. There's a lot of classic decor as well. The server Chris provided excellent service.
Lived across the street for 11 years and just this year started going here for a quick beer and a bite. Staff are pretty friendly, Guiness always on point and the burger or the other pub food can't be beat. It's a good place to go to.
