Excellent Greek restaurant! I absolutely love their moussaka (I get it at every Greek restaurant). It's good for large groups and it never seems to get too loud, so you can always hear everyone. They were also very accommodating when I wanted to move up a 10 person reservation by a few hours. Staff is great, food is great, can't really go wrong.
My friend and I had a great experience at Pegasus. The staff was very accommodating to our lunch request as what we wanted was not on the current menu. Everything we tried was very flavorful and delicious. Can't wait to go back during the spring or summer and try the rooftop dining area. Loved it!
I went there for lunch, as I am staying in a nearby hotel. The food was good, I loved the dining al fresco as they had the windows open and were seating people close to the window. This was a really nice touch. I ha a gyro plate, and my friend had a nice gyro salad. We were both very pleased with our entrees.
I had a drink though, I thought 11.25 was a bit high for a cocktail while it was tasty, this isn't the place where I would want to run up a bar tab.
The decor was lovely, and I would go back minus any cocktails.
The rooftop here provides the a very picturesque view of the city and it's supremely well priced for such real estate. They have some awesome fried zucchini and great gyros. I have been dining here for years and overall it was a 4 last time I went...3, the gentleman I used to know/love had to handle family business a year ago so since then new people run the roof. Either way, it's a must go b/c of price and view. Hands down a must eat.
Food was excellent and would have given five stars if not for the fact that someone managing this place thought it was a good idea to have the windows open yesterday when it was 96 degrees outside. We would have stayed longer and ordered more but we all had sweat pouring down our face and bodies. Very uncomfortable! No common sense. People at adjacent tables were fanning themselves with menus! Difficult to eat and drink especially when it's 100 degrees plus inside the restaurant. It was cooler outside! If I wanted the heat, we would have went somewhere and sat outside.
All I can say is WOW! Wife and I went upstairs to the veranda this weekend, where they serve tapas-style dishes. About 40 to choose from, and the 6-7 of the more exotic choices were fantastic. The service was also outstanding. Can't wait to go back again.
Gyros plates are stacked with juicy gyros meat. Good appetizers, tarramousalta and octopus being the ones we order. Most attentive, friendly service. Tastefully appointed dining room. Festive roof top deck. Pleasant ambience. Just an enjoyable dining experience at the right price. Great value overall.
Excellent food and service! Definitely worth the wait for dining upstairs!

Located in the heart of Chicago's Greek Town, staffed mostly by Greeks, this night give you the illusion you escaped to the Mediterranean beauty of Greece. The food is fresh and delicious, the portions are ample, the expert servers are quick and polite. Time and again I am impressed that staff and management will remember patrons by name even if they had not been at the restaurant for a while. A wonderful dining experience every time. Oopah!
Unfortunately the restaurant is closed
Pegasus was a great restaurant with consistently great food. It closed at the beginning of December, 2017 after 27 years in businesses. We were lucky enough to visit on their last day of business and enjoyed the same hospitality and wonderful food as always. There is a smaller Pegasus at Midway airport which will remain open, as well as their sister coffee shop in Greektown, Artopolis. Such a shame to see this restaurant closed. I would always recommend the octopus and the yuvetsaki (braided lamb with crushed tomatoes, wine and herbs over kritharaki/orzo pasta). If you get to visit either the Midway location or Artopolis, I recommend the cheese-filled hand pies.
Vacationed in Chicago. Friends suggested Pegasus. It was the VERY BEST event of my week. Amazing food, quality service, and the rooftop at dusk -- watching night fall and seeing the city go from day to night lights? A rare experience.
A hidden gem my family gapped upon. All I can say is my Cajun polish kids pronounced types of food I never heard of but will get again. The food prep and presentation were a thing I am used to seeing in south LA. Delishio
