Early Halloween celebration underway during our stop for dinner. Festive: wait staff in costumes; decorations; vintage rock music over the sound system. The only downer was the overserved female patrons at the bar singing at the top of their lungs. Food was above average. Overall, a nice evening out.
The Daily Bar & Grill is further from Lincoln Square's center of gravity, but that's what makes it so appealing. You can sit at a table under a tree in a quiet patio area. The salads and burgers are excellent. Be sure to try their classic root beer float.
We've eaten here a couple times, and always had great service. Sat in the patio this last time, our server John had spot-on recommendations, was very attentive to our kids needs, and was very friendly and personable. Fish and chips, fish tacos, tenders, and the homemaker sandwich were all top notch. Their fries and tater tots were very well fried and super crispy - loved them! Fried pickles were a bit too salty, so I'd pass on those next time, but still well fried. Great place to get top-tier bar food.
My wife and I have walked past this place a hundred times but never stopped in until tonight. The inside looks really nice, but we decided to eat our meal out on their patio space which is pretty big and open to the sidewalk. They have a nice mix of classic mixed drinks and craft beer selections. The menu is pretty simple, nothing extraordinary but the appetizer was good and our meals delicious. Good quick service as well. Recommend.
Had dinner and drinks after work on a Thursday night. Waitstaff was friendly and efficient plus a good sense of humor. Outdoor patio is spacious and quiet enough given the location. Will return in future. Highly recommend to others.
Chill corner pub serving pizza, burgers, salads and more. Fries are pub style w/ skin on, I had the blackened shrimp wrap. It was a nice size wrap and very delicious. This was just the vibe I was looking for on a rainy Monday evening. Great selection of martinis, cocktails, draft beer & wine.
Friendly neighborhood tavern with full bar, great pizza and beer. They always have Foggy Geezer War Pigs on tap. Awesome outdoor patio. Spinach and artichoke dip and patty melts are my go-to. Burgers and wraps are also great, excellent Buff-town style wings and you gotta try the fried pickles. Tater Tots are also an area local favorite, yah come hungry. Free parking in the lot down on Lincoln on Sundays.
Let me tell you what…this place is unbelievable!! Incredible bacon cheese burger, cooked to perfection with the best hand-cut homemade fries and house made ranch. The friendliest, most professional service I’ve seen made my trip to Chicago perfection. They even gave my friends and I the center table to watch whatever football games we wanted on their big screen TVs. A MUST stop in the area for both locals and tourists.
I've always had fantastic service here! BBQ veggie burger is great. Good beer selection. Lively but not overly crowded and loud when I've been
Decent food at good prices and a good patio. The portion sizes are huge, and the staff was friendly.
Love the vibe here. Casual and very open, not a huge place. Good list of beers for only $5-6. Nice selection of food options - pizza, sandwiches, your typical bar fare. Seems not as crowded as some of the other "hot spots" along Lincoln ave
Today was our first time here and they did not disappoint! I ordered the Sunday edition burger and it was the best burger I’ve ever had! My boyfriend got the blackened chicken Florentine sandwich and it was also delicious. Service was excellent and quick! We will return.
The Daily has been my Tattor tats spot for yours they cook them to perfection. They are good at keeping the Tap Beer lines clean so no off flavors! Key love this place ND the people that go here.
Love the patio. This place has some real high quality chicken fingers.
Service here is phenomenal. Quick and on point. We were pulled in by their outdoor area, no frills - plenty of room to bring our granddaughter in with her stroller - grab a beer and a quick meal.
The food here is ok. The chicken on both the wrap and in the salad was not seasoned so it is a place where you will need the addition of sauce to help reduce the bland. The tots were good.
Would come back for a drink - nice offerings of martini's - which many were being served up - and beer.
This is a cozy, down-to-earth neighborhood bar and grill in Lincoln Square. There is a nice variety to the food and drink menu. It is tasty and affordable. The service is friendly and efficient. Inside and outside seating to suit your needs. This is a perfect place for most occasions and company.
Ran into this place and if I lived closer I would be in trouble. It would be my guilty pleasure. Food portions were big and delicious. Staff was super friendly and had us laughing from the beginning.
